Overview
This Drop Weight Adapter allows most drop weight machines to be converted to the Wise 2086 Electronic Pro Tensioner. The adapter bolts to the base of the drop weight machine after removing the tensioning arm. May require drilling. Includes instructions for assembly.

Botls are too short.The bolts that com with the drop weight attachment are way to short. Just go buy some 1/2 inch longer.
Necessary, but...If you want to mount your Wise tensioner to your existing drop weight machine, you NEED this product. That said, I was disappointed that of the two attachment bolts, one was shorter than the other (clearly an error), and I had to remove a locking washer to give myself enough length on the bolt to catch the thread of the nut on the other side. It's some statement on quality control and the price is borderline extortion, but this is a static piece of metal, so no rocket science here. Overall if you add it to the cost of the tensioner and compare it to buying a totally new electronic stringing machine, it's a no-brainer.
