| Playing Style: | I have a semi-western forehand, and I like mix it up on the backhand with slice, topspin on the two-hander, and occasionally hit a one-hander. I like to be crafty and use a lot of variety, and I would say my best weapon is taking the ball early on the rise and being precise with my shot placement. |
| Tennis Background: | I grew up playing multiple sports including football, baseball, basketball, and I picked up tennis after high school while attending college. When I first fell in love with tennis, I was practicing and training non-stop; I was completely hooked. After developing my game, I landed a spot on the tennis team at Allan Hancock Community College and played for a couple of seasons on the team; following that, I helped as an assistant coach for a few seasons. Nowadays, I enjoy hitting for fun and the privilege of getting to test products as part of my job. I also have a passion for helping younger players develop their games; emphasizing technique, fundamentals, and stroke mechanics. Putting my B.S. in Kinesiology to use! |
