This orange version of Toroline's most popular string combines spin-friendly targeting with a comfortably crisp feel

Developed with the help of former ATP pro Steve Johnson, this orange version of O-Toro offers an irresistible combination of durability, control, and feel. In addition to offering above-average comfort for a poly-based monofilament, this shaped co-poly features sharp edges and a slick surface, giving it enough spin potential to bring the ball down hard.

  • Gauge: 17/1.23
  • Length:  40ft/12.2m
  • Composition: Co-polyester Monofilament
  • Color: Orange

Above averageString held up well for 10 hrs of hit time in my Pure Aero Rafa over 2 months. Amazingly the mains are able to snapback without any hangups. I could have used it longer but I strung it at 48lb/33DT and before the 10 hr mark I noticed the lost of control with launchy shots in a tight match. Measured the DT afterwards and it had dropped to 27DT/40 lbs; too low for me to hit with confidence. I keep track of the DT with my ERT300 after each session and was happy with its tension maintenance after the initial drop from 33DT/48# to 29DT/42lb. From after 1 hour to after 3.5 hours, DT had been stable at 29/42lb. And from hour 4.5 to 9 it measured 28DT/41. So apparently with the 48# reference tension I'm able to use this at low 40s for almost 9+ hrs. Overall good value and performance. Perhaps next time I will raise reference tension to 50 or 52# and see if it buys me even longer play time. Control 7, Power 8, Spin 9, Feel 7, Sound 8

AmazingStrung on my Wilson Clash Pro V3 and instantly got more spin and control than the Solinco Tour Bite I was using plus matches the red/orange lettering perfectly. Toroline has the best strings in the business. Strung at 53lbs and the strings snap back into place more than any string I’ve ever used. And you can’t beat the price.

My new go toI, like many I’m sure, saw all the marketing hype across various platforms. I also held that against this brand unfairly. I gave this string a shot as well as the white, and the toro toro. These strings are exceptional. I’ve never played a poly this soft that had this much control. I get the sensation that the ball sinks into the stringbed the same amount whether I’m swinging at a relaxed pace or as hard as I can hit. It’s as if the string absorbs the incoming ball and returns very little energy leaving you to make up the difference and take huge cuts at the ball. It’s interesting to get used to. Often times softer polys will get that trampoline effect for me when I take a big cut, or flatten out my swingpath (especially soft shaped polys), but with Otoro I get the same amount of pocketing whether I’m hitting a rally ball, a defensive high roller, or aiming to crush it. 10 out of 10 for me.

Brought an old VCORE to life!I put a set in an old Yonex VCORE 100 that I had retired. It was great in that racquet at 50lbs, giving a nice combination of controlled power, spin, and feel. It seems similar to Head Lynx Tour, Solinco Confidential, and Grapplesnake M8, but gives more spin with greater comfort than those strings.

Feels great and hits betterThe best strings I’ve had so far. Didn’t have to change my hitting style and got effortless spin on my hits. Also the comfort is much better allowing me to control the ball. I’m suing a pure strike with 48/46 on the mains and crosses.

AverageI bought the 100m reel to try. A mistake. Strung it on latest Tfight 300 and 300s and Vcore98. Did not like it that much. I would still gravitate back to HyperG Soft 16L.

Cant fairly reviewBought a new pure aero with the orange otoro strings at 52 pounds. Racquet arrived with strings with loose tension that lost full tension in 2 weeks.

One of the best polys out there! In every category, one of the best polys out there. Tension maintenance, control, spin, playability, it is near the top in all of these! I would highly recommend. I was a longtime Hyper-G user and it beats it in every category for me. I have not looked back.

Excellent StringsToroline O- Toro strings are very good, and I am glad they are making them in more colors, since the green isn't my cup of tea. The orange pops, and I can't wait for the other new colors to drop.
