This shoe features a one-time TW 6-month outsole durability guarantee. If you wear through the outsole within 6-months of purchasing from Tennis Warehouse you can return the pair for replacement.

Please note:

  • Warranty only covers the rubber outsole of the shoe. Damage to the toe-guard or upper of the shoe does not qualify for the warranty replacement.
  • Shoe must be completely worn through the outsole and into the midsole or insole of the shoe.
  • Warranty is void if the shoe is abused or mishandled.

Carrying on the classic comfort and durability of the T22, but with a more breathable upper and a bit easier flexibility right out of the box.

Prince revitalizes their flagship shoe by making it faster and more supportive! The Prince T22.5 features an upper designed with layers of support as well as extra flex allowing it to weigh less than the original, and breathe even better. The traditional cushioning that T22 players have come to know and love, remains intact for a plush underfoot feel. Durability continues to be a standout feature and the traction is ideal for a variety of court surfaces; all while being backed by a six-month outsole durability guarantee. Players of all levels can take advantage of the subtle updates to modernize this classic court shoe.

  • Upper: Breathable layers offer more support, flexibility and breathability compared to the original T22.
  • Midsole: EVA Midsole with ShockEraser heel insert absorbs shock while SoftSpring PU forefoot insert disperses shock to enhance comfort
  • Outsole: PRC 1000 durable outsole compound in a herringbone tread pattern provides durable traction on all surfaces. Features a six-month outsole durability guarantee.
  • Color: White / Navy

Upper needs improvementThis shoe (T22.5) has potential to be great. Thanks to reading a reviewer's comments, I went up half size and it is a perfect fit for my feet. The only issue I have is that for me the upper is still too stiff. It is a personal preference, but I wish all shoe companies go back to using more of regular mesh for the upper.

Like this Shoe a lotI like the Prince T22.5 shoe a lot. Very comfortable and durable, especially for the price. I've been playing tennis for over 50 years, and it's the first shoe I can remember where I didn't wear out my right toe (from serving) long before the rest of the shoe. Also very comfortable, and looks good. I'm on my 4th pair, and will continue to use.

Sizes Run SmallLove the look and the grippiness of the soles, however, the sizes run very small. If your experience is like mine, I would suggest going up a half size. Unfortunately, for me I ordered the largest size they sold so I am limited in the socks I can wear.

Little thingsI bought Prince T-22.5 tennis shoes to play outdoor pickleball and overall, they are great. They fit well; came with two sets of laces, black and shiny green and are quite comfortable. However, they have one minor issue; they have no back lift tab so getting them on over socks requires some maneuvering. Now, I would not normally care except that is my third pair of Prince tennis shoe and the previous two had rear lift tabs and were T-22s. Also, I wear an ankle brace so putting on one shoe would be much easier with a lift tab. I don’t know why they changed that feature but had I known, I might not have bought them. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the shoes.

Good shoe without all the fancy stuffLike many, I found my perfect shoe (more than once), only to have it change for the worse in the next iteration - and keep getting worse with subsequent versions. Wilson Rush Pro 3.5, I'm looking at you! Seems like the trend is to "modernize" tennis shoes with new features that, IMO, aren't really needed and sometimes create a weird shape/fit. I tried 7 of the most recent offerings and was shocked at how strangely most of them fit, with the exception of the New Balance 996 D (which was a bit narrow for me but that's just my foot). For many of them, I was having trouble imagining a the foot that would actually fit well. The T22.5 is more of traditional tennis shoe and has everything I was looking for. I have a relatively low volume foot but a medium-width forefoot and this one fits me perfectly. Good heel hold, no slop, and just wide/tall enough in the forefoot and instep to be comfortable. Of course, fit will vary from foot to foot but if the T22.5 doesn't fit you, it's not going to be because of some bizarre asymmetrical tongue or other contrived design. It feels stable moving on the court and shows hardly any wear after about 15 hours of play. It's not super light or super cushioned but light and cushioned enough. Plus it has a 6 month outsole warranty and is priced far below most of the competition (not counting lower end models). Hopefully, the T22.5 does not "evolve" anytime soon into some fancy looking, odd-fitting space boot. Until it does, I'll be happy buying this shoes for years to come. I was happy to spend whatever it cost for the right pair of shoes but the relatively inexpensive T22.5 was the clear winner for me. YMMV

Good fit, Good serviceI usually wear size 8 or 9.5, and the website said they are true to size, so I ordered these shoes in size 8.5, but they felt short and tight. I returned them (very easy!) And ordered size 9. The 9's fit perfectly!
