TheT22.5 features an upper designed with layers of support as well as extra flex allowing it to weigh less than the original and breathe even better. The traditional cushioning T22 players have come to know and love remains intact for a plush underfoot feel. Durability continues to be a standout feature and the tacky outsole. - Midsole: EVA Midsole with ShockEraser heel insert absorbs shock while SoftSpring PU forefoot insert disperses shock to enhance comfort
- Outsole: PRC 1000 durable outsole compound in a herringbone tread pattern provides durable traction on all surfaces. Does not come with an outsole durability guarantee.

Comments: I was really excited to try this newer and lighter version of the classic T22 shoe but ultimately, I was disappointed. I've worn the T22 tennis shoe for many years and love it, great cushion and stability. The T22.5 does not offer the same stability of the T22 and it feels like it has less cushioning. The T22.5 also hurt the tendon on the side of my right ankle because of lack of support/stability when moving side to side. Unfortunately, the T22.5 did not work for me. I will be staying with the T22.
