Power. Spin. Comfort

New to the Ripstick family for 2025, the Ripstick 98 offers an irresistible combination of power and precision. Boasting a surgical 98in² head and 16x18 string pattern, this stick will give you the needed spin-potential to target the lines. It also comes with a fairly hefty swingweight, which provides impressive stability against big hitters while also providing massive power on full cuts. This racquet's comfortable feel comes in no small part from the large O-Ports that surround the hitting area, a feature that not only produces a more plush and powerful string bed, but also creates less wind-drag for easier acceleration. It also has Prince's newly updated Anti-Torque System, which combines Textreme and Zylon in key locations to minimize frame wobble and power loss on off-center impact. Ultimately, this is a great option for the player who wants a precise and powerful racquet with a plush feel at impact.

Been a good RACHave the 98 with the O ports 4 5/8. Strung with Gut mains and Poly crosses. Found good pop on serve and my control on the ground strokes been excellent. My main playing partner made a comment about my touch shots. No arm issues. My only beef would be the paint scheme which is a bit bold for my taste !! :)

Sneaky goodThis is a super comfortable racquet! I am getting back into tennis after many years of being out due to a wrist injury. This racquet has a huge sweet spot which makes it less shocking on my wrist.

Ripstick passes the testI switched from the Prince Textreme to the Ripstick. The Ripstick seems to be a bit head light, and my backhand has improved because I'm able to maneuver it a little quicker. Volleys seem more crisp. If you're looking for more topspin, this racquet will do the trick.

WHIP CITYFantastic for big spin, nasty drop shots, and fat serves. Also fantastic for one-handed backhands. Notably head-light, so demands a bit more experience than your average 98 sq in. racquet (esp. for volleys and other lower swing speed moments). An overall incomparable experience with a lot of character -- definitely intended for someone who enjoys crafty gameplay and mixing up their opponents.

3.0 winner3.0 player moving from a Tour Carbon 290 Gosen Sidewinder @52 to 98 Ripstick Polytour Rev 16 at 60. Out of the box, feels amazing. Very plush. No vibration as comp to Tour. Huge power but manageable. Straight shots may go long but much better at topspin and amazing for defence or serves. Volleys can go high and long sometimes. Pro I work with though it actually helped my game a bunch. Much heavier but changes directions on a dime with minimal arm strain or pain. Love it.
