Controllable power. Great Feel.

Introducing the Acrostrike 305! With this racquet, Mizuno delivers easy targeting and great feel to intermediate and advanced players. With its 98 square inch head and flexible beam, the Acrostrike 305 hits with impressive accuracy but still packs enough pop to hit your targets with pace. Factor in the 16x19 string pattern, and you have enough spin-potential to target the lines. It also packs a swingweight in the mid 320s, giving it a stable feel against higher levels of pace while still possessing enough all-court speed to take the net and close out points. To help with power, the Acrostrike features Mizuno's Enerzy Beam construction for less deformation at impact along with a Dual Spring layup with resilient carbon fiber layers. The Acrostrike 305 also benefits from an innovative 4WP (4 way pocket) Grommet system that helps the strings snap back more powerfully through impact (think spin). Ultimately, the Acrostrike 305 is perfect for intermediate and advanced players who want controllable power and great feel.

Solid performance throughout4.5 USTA player. My biggest surprise is how well this frame performs in all aspects of play. I'm coming from a Pro Staff -> Percept -> Ezone 98. I've played with the Acrostrike for 18 hours so far. Launch and targeting are predictable, but somehow with a good amount of power for a control frame. It's very stable on center with a nice, generous sweet spot. Spin potential was surprisingly high without modifying my swing too much. I'd say it feels less dampened than the Blade or Ezone series. The low static weight makes it easy customize. I typically prefer a little more headlight balance, but this frame seems to whip through the air fairly well. I had no expectations for this Mizuno project. If you're looking for a control-oriented frame with lots of spin and decent power, I would try this out.

Stable everywhereHad more hitting time. Pretty stable from all areas. Serving was good considering almost an even balance. Good spin. I think this is an intermediate frame but advanced players could really tap into its smooth feel. Has a muted feel but has enough feel to satisfy . Try it and you will love the controlled power. It feels stiffer but not hard on the arm .

Good racquet for baseline or serve and volleyNot much time with this racquet so far. Smooth feel with good volley potential. Feels stiffer than the 63RA listed. Cosmetics for this and the blue one are very unique. I could switch because I know this is not a problem racquet
