The Speed Team from Head is a great racket for intermediate players who enjoy some mass-based power, but don't want to compromise on comfort. On paper, the Speed Team seems to be more demanding than most rackets with the "Team" delineation, but, its hitting surface is primarily made from fiberglass, making it soft, comfortable, and easy to trust in dire moments. Though the racket is 365 grams and has a higher balance around 270 mm, the hitting surface goes a long way to make this teardrop racket more accessible to a wider variety of players. Internally, Head's Power Foam improves stability and comfort throughout contact while also increasing dwell time. Additionally, Head's Auxetic 2.0 construction facilitates increased responsiveness, utilizing auxetic fibers that bend atypically to normal compression, getting wider where other materials would otherwise become compressed.
