Dunlop adds another chapter to the most powerful and precise member of the SX family

Introducing the most stable and surgical member of the SX family. It's called the SX 300 Tour, and it combines a control-oriented 98-square-inch head with a dangerous combination of power and spin (think heavy ball). In addition to its open string pattern, the SX Tour features a firm and stable beam construction, making it easier to keep your opponent in check with high levels of pace. It also features a sub-325 swingweight, giving experienced players explosive acceleration from the baseline and speedy handling at net. For 2025, Dunlop widens the beam's face at 3 and 9 o'clock to increase torsional stability and energy transfer. To help with comfort, Dunlop adds Vibroshield technology, a dampening material positioned in the shaft and head to minimize harsh impact vibrations. Dunlop also updates its Spin Boost XT Grommets, which have been widened in the yoke to increase string movement for greater snapback and added ball rotation. As with the previous version, these grommets are strategically shaped and positioned to enhance spin across a wider range of impact locations. Additional technologies include Sonic Core Infinergy, a thermoplastic polyurethane in the upper hoop, to create a more comfortable and responsive feel at impact. Ultimately, the SX 300 Tour continues to be an outstanding option for those who want a powerful weapon with enough spin potential to bring the ball down on a dime.

Solid Spin Control RacquetA solid spin control racquet. Me, a 4.0 topspin, semi-wester/western FH and 1HBH player. Currently play with SX 300 Tour 2022. I've played with the 2025 version for 15 hrs. It's way faster, maneuverable, good feel, and stable racquet. It's an awesome baseline racquet. You can hit ground topspin strokes forever. I can really get around the ball really quickly to shape it on my forehand. And on my 1HBH I can hit like the Shapovalov one hander. Its great for second serves, you can generate some serious spin. Overheads were solid. Volleys and return of serves were okay. IMO this is a little underpowered. You can think of the previous SX 300 Tour 2022 as power spin racquet. My 2022 v2 has way more power on serves and plow on forehand than the new v3 2025. FYI, I prefer the v2 for power and doubles too. I have to hit flatter on the forehand wing with the 2025 to get the desired power. From a power comparison from more to less, SX 300 Tour 2022 > SX 300 Tour 2025 > FX 500 Tour 2023. I've tested with 3 polys Toroline Toro Toro, Grapplesnake Alpha, and Toroline Enso Pro at both 52/50 and 50/48. Last but not least, I bought 2 of them and both right on spec. Dunlop SX tour models have good quality control. I really like this Srixon frame mold. It's in my racquet rotation.

Great overall racquetToo sad that this racquet does not have more attention across the tennis community Great overall racquet - good power; great for ground strokes; good feeling at the net, service is good too but I noticed better performance with a little of weight in the handle Good spin potential but I can also hit flat shoots if I want to Maybe sensible to strings - I am using toro o- toro tour in the main and o toro in the crosses and works for me Just try it

Easiest 98 to play with. Period. This racquet is a baseliner's dream. Very stable and plenty of spin. It's not overly spinny (launch angle not too high) like the other popular offerings from other brands. Easy power and stable. Beam width is 23/26/23 like a Pure Drive, but way more maneuverable. Doesn't feel stiff despite the high RA. If you bought a Pure Aero 98 and you couldn't gel with it. Try this one. It's so much easier to play with and you can play flat easily as well.

Added 10 grams of weight to handle.I tried polyester strings in this racquet but it plays better with Wilson NXT comfort 17 gauge multifilament string. I strung it 55 pounds. I also added 10 grams of tungsten putty in the butt cap. Serves, volleys and overheads are very good with this set up. Blocking returns and slices are also very good. Playing doubles is definitely good with this racquet. I'll do another review after I play singles with it. My Universal Tennis rating is 6.14.

Great stick!Wondered why no one has reviewed this great stick as of yet. I wanted to play with the prior version but it felt a bit bulky for my taste. Here they lowered the swingweight and increased the stiffness a bit but works well. Highly stable and packs a good punch. Plays more like a 100 sq head but still good control. Spin is good but nothing crazy for a spin racquet. Love it on serves and especially volleys. Good control and depth on groundies. Feel is muted and takes away vibrations but just enough connection to the ball. I use a multi/ poly hybrid to help soften up the bed instead of full poly. Great job Dunlop!
