K-Swiss Shoe Guide
Premium Performance Options
As part of the ATP Baseline program announced in 2026, K-Swiss now is the official footwear partner of the ATP Tour. A unique aspect of this deal is that K-Swiss has agreed to provide their court shoes to any professional player in the top 250 without a footwear sponsorhsip. K-Swiss has five premium performance options in their families, all listed below.
Hypercourt Express 3
"The somewhat low-to-the-ground stance and decent width of these shoes struck a nice balance of support and stability, while maintaining a reasonably speedy feel around the court."
-Munish, TW Playtester
"These shoes didn’t need a break-in, and I felt comfortable moving around in them right away. Everything from the heel collar to the arch support felt comfortable to me."
-Tiffani, TW Playtester
When it comes to durability and stability, KSwiss has a couple of options that cater to both of those aspects for court shoes. The more affordable option is their Hypercourt Express 3, which has been updated to provide even more rigidity without sacrificing comfort. This club favorite is loved for its accomodating fit, impressive levels of durability, and soft cushioning underfoot. The Hypercourt Express 3 may have a modern exterior visually speaking, but the feel of these shoes remains relatively traditional. Our team praised the ultra-stable nature of these shoes, and appreciated how accomodating the fit was for wider foot types. Fans of that classic K-Swiss experience will find a good home in the Hypercourt Express 3.
Hypercourt Supreme 2
"Combined with the support from the upper and the soft bootie collar around my ankles, I felt very locked in and secure no matter which direction I moved on the court."
-Troy, TW Playtester
"I'm really picky with stability due to past ankle injuries, and the shoes checked this box with no issues. I had plenty of confidence pushing off and changing directions."
-Brittany, TW Playtester
Compared to the Hypercourt Express series, the Hypercourt Supreme line offers a little more performance and a more locked down fit. The Supreme utilizes more of a sock-like or bootie construction to secure your feet down authoritatively. Lateral support side-to-side is also quite high, making this one of the more performance-oriented options within K-Swiss' lineup. Our testers reported high levels of underfoot cushioning and a practical level of stability when moving side-to-side. For fans of that classic K-Swiss feeling underfoot, the Hypercourt Supreme 2 offers that in addition to modern performance benefits.
Ultrashot 4
"I had a lot of trust in the traction of these shoes and felt comfortable moving as aggressively as I could. All in all, I'd say the blend of grip and give was up to the usual high standard of K-Swiss."
-Chris, TW Playtester
"The Ultrashot 4s fit me pretty well right away, and they felt amazing underfoot. The cushioning was probably the highlight of this playtest for me."
-Zsofi, TW Playtester
The Ultrashot 4 quickly won over our team for its excellent levels of stability and lateral support. When moving side-to-side, our team felt confident planting and moving with intent, letting them maneuver around the court with ease. These shoes are also heavily seen on the pro tours for K-Swiss' sponsored athletes, such as Frances Tiafoe, Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Zhang Zhizhen. For those who crave ultra-high levels of support at higher levels of the game, the Ultrashot 4 is likely the K-Swiss option for you.
Hypercourt Pinnacle
"I like pretty much everything. It has all the high-performance features I expect in a top-tier shoe and delivers where I need it most: stability, traction and comfort."
-Jason, TW Playtester
The Hypercourt Pinnacle was developed alongside ATP players to provide utmost support for aggressive movers. This more uniform and streamlined construction emphasizes a rigid upper that provides excellent lateral stability for those who like to turn and burn on the court. This shoe represents a step into a more contemporary style of footwear for K-Swiss, with a heavier TPU-laden upper and more intense levels of support for those who grind out points. Originally worn by Andrey Rublev, these shoes are now seen on court worn by Thiago Agustín Tirante.
K-Frame Speed
"For how light these K-Frame Speeds feel relative to some of the more substantial court shoes out there, I'm downright amazed at the stability-to-weight ratio."
-Oak, TW Playtester
"These K-Frame Speeds look great and are super fun style-wise; no matter where I was wearing them (on or off court), I got compliments on their bold and bright vibes."
-Michelle, TW Playtester
Evolving from the Hypercourt Pinnacle, the K-Swiss K-Frame Speed was developed with the help of Andrey Rublev to be his signature shoe on the ATP Tour. Now having been in use for over a year for Rublev, it's easy to see why he loves it so much. These shoes were extremely well regarded internally here at Tennis Warehouse, earning high marks from our testers and even a few "shoe of the year" proclamations from some. These shoes combine a plush feel underfoot with a lockdown feeling, bolstered by impressive levels of lateral support that is neither too rigid or too soft. The K-Frame Speeds seem to bend and flex with the wearer's intent, letting our team dash around court with ample speed and support. All-in-all, these shoes are one of the more impressive first generation court shoes we've seen in a long time.
Value Choices
Though their performance lineup is varied and deep, the more value-based options from K-Swiss are excellent choices for those just starting out in a court sport, and they make an excellent gift for those who want to give the gift of tennis to someone else.
K-Speed Team
Built with the same outsole as the K-Frame Speed, the K-Speed Team offers a similar feeling underfoot but with an entirely different upper. Overall the K-Speed Team is lighter and more breathable than its tour-level counterpart. However for more of a takedown offering, the K-Speed Team is one of the stronger options from K-Swiss, given its premium outsole. These fashion-forward options remain an excellent choice for the more visually inclined.
Ultrashot Team 2
As a lighter, and less intense of the Ultrashot 4, the Ultrashot Team 2 offers a good amount of stability and comfort in a lightweight package. Our team found these shoes to have a surprising amount of performance capability, so if you're looking for a great deal or an excellent gift option, these Ultrashot Team 2s are a fantastic choice for both newer players and value hunters who maybe don't need top-flight performance.
Ultrashot Light
The Ultrashot Light is another takedown from K-Swiss' Ultrashot series, offering an even lighter experience compared to the Ultrashot Team 2. These shoes offer an easy-to-use experience that should work for most entry level players, but perhaps will top out at some higher levels of performance. That said, the Ultrashot Light has been seen used on tour by Quentin Halys this year, who has reached a career high inside the world's top 50.
Court Express
As perhaps the best value offering from K-Swiss, the Court Express sports a classic silhouette that will likely cater to fans of the iconic heritage look from the brand. The upper is made from a combination of leather and synthetic materials that will likely appeal to those who like a more traditional feeling upper compared to solely mesh/TPU offerings as seen on more modern shoes. These shoes are light enough for quick movements but heavy enough at over 13.1 ounces (10.5 US Men's) to still be stable when moving side-to-side.
