Updated with a softer feel, the Clash Pro V3 combines arm-friendly comfort with phenomenal command over the ball

Defined by its plush comfort and controllable power, the third generation of the Clash Pro recaptures the buttery feel of the inaugural version, launched in 2019. As the heaviest model in the series, the Clash Pro V3 isn't as quick as the Clash 100, but it provides more than enough speed for aggressive all-court play. What separates it from its lighter siblings can be measured in plow through and power, making this racquet better at redirecting the pace of a big hitting opponent or driving the ball through the court. Although not as precise as a Blade, this stick provides impressive control on full cuts. For 2025, in addition to tightening spec tolerances, Wilson refines the proprietary layup technology that gives the Clash such a uniquely comfortable and responsive feel. It's called SI3D, and it increases horizontal bending (for added dwell time, pocketing, and control) while maximizing vertical bending (for easier access to spin). Additionally, Wilson adds Hit Stabilizer technology for greater torsional stability, resulting in easier access to power and less racquet wobbling on off-center impact. Other updates include minor tweaks to the geometry in the shaft and yoke to facilitate multidirectional bending. Together, these features translate into a uniquely comfortable modern player's racquet, one that combines outstanding touch with easy targeting on powerful cuts. The fact that it recaptures the exceptional feel and pocketing of the original version is a nice bonus.

Solid and super comfortableI recently switched to a pair of these after a bout with tennis elbow. The issue has totally disappeared, and I'm left with two really solid racquets. These Clash Pros are really stable, super comfortable, and provide easy power. They are a little heavy in the head which was an adjustment at first compared to my usual racquets, but I'm really impressed with how great they feel on basically all strokes. I will probably pick up another one or two soon. I string them at 53lbs with a variety of different polys

Small sweet spot, trampoline everywhere elseWas looking for a slightly more powerful replacement of my Blade 100. I was excited to try this racquet after playing with the Clash v1 years ago, not liking the Clash v2, and then noting that the v3 is supposed to be more like v1. Not so--this is a 100 sq in racquet that has all the downsides of a 100 (maneuverability) with none of the upsides (sweetspot, power). I tried this with a multi at 55 and volkl cyclone at 50. Neither worked well. Ball either went slowly in the direction I wanted it to if I was really controlled and launched out if I wanted to unload a bit. It feels like an unmaneuverable club but without the plow-through--worst of both worlds. Additionally, the grip size is more rectangular than I'm used to with Wilson--another uncomfortable in-between where my standard grip size (4) felt a bit too big. Surprised at the number of positive reviews--maybe I got a dud.

why not play it in a tourney?I play a Wilson Blade 100 now, and bought an extra Clash pro in case I had some tennis elbow. I was a Pure Strike and Yonex guy before. I love my Blades, but this Clash is so easy to hit unless you are full western/spin guy. No E Zone/pure drive for power, but great depth and fun to serve with. People say wouldn't play in a tourney-why not? It's not pin point like a Blade/Gravity, but good for doubles and singles through 4.5. Try one. Really fun. I'm a 4.5 who used to play in college and coming back to play in tourneys now that boys are in high school and have more time.

Clash purchaseEverything went well. My only concern was the string job. I had asked for 50 pounds with Luxilon Element Soft strings. The tension was off by at least six pounds.

A great upgrade to already a great racquetI’ve been hitting with a Clash for about two years. I started off with the Clash Pro with the 16/19 String pattern and then also purchased the V2 16x20 string pattern. All very good racquets. But this V3 pro by far is the best racquet so far. It’s easy on the arm generates great spin and it is very forgiving for off-center hits.

Still on the fence.I’ve played with the Clash v1 and v2 for the past few years and found that the v3 felt a lot different than the past 2 versions. It addressed the instability issues, stiffness, and also swings more effortlessly. I added the same amount of lead tape to the 3/9 positions and strung it at the same tension with Solinco. The feel was noticeably more dampened almost to the point of being too mushy for my liking. This also lead to less control and spin as I was having a hard time finding the right contact point. I’ve since restrung it four pounds higher and it plays like a dream. The lower stiffness made this racquet less erratic and more forgiving on mishits. It also provides more plow through for a deeper drive, but I still find it difficult to generate spin on the forehand vs the v2. Great racquet overall and an excellent upgrade for anyone dealing with the same issues.

Great RacquetThis is a great all around tennis racquet. Excellent on groundstrokes, serve, and volley. I am an older tennis player that was having some issues with tennis elbow. Needed a more flexible racquet to help with the problem and the Wilson Clash Pro V3 was just the answer. It has the racquet weight and swing weight comparable to my old racquets (Yonex Vcore 100) but without the stiffness. Very happy with my choice.

Comfort and powerI left the Clash V2 100 due to stability issues. This Pro V3 has all the comfort, power, and stability I need and still is easy to generate spin.
