Love the style butLots of stylish features but they are wide and feel a little clunky. The asymmetrical tongue isn’t fixed in place and can be difficult to position, it also comes up high on the ankle and rubbed a sore on the front of my ankle several times.
Finally found a pair of perfect tennis shoesAfter sending back several pairs that were uncomfortable in one way or another, I finally found these shoes which are perfect. Great for everyday wear as well, I walked 8miles/12kms in them and felt I could keep walking. The lip is not too stiff and does not cut into the front of my feet, the ankle support is great without it being too high that it bruises my ankles. i purchased a half size up what I usually wear, and the fit is perfect, as I have wider feet, but with slightly narrow heel. Heel support is great as well.
Good stability shoe, surprisingly lightweightI like these shoes for their width and stability and the sole seems to be lasting. I only wish there was more cushioning in the forefront. There is definitely a break-in period. I did not find my toe pushing to the front like some people.

Barricade 13For decades the Barricade shoe has been my go-to for a good fit and support and was skeptical of this new design given the other reviews, but ordered them anyway. The fit was solid, had no issues with the tongue, and the support was there. The reason they are a 4 and not a 5 is that the support feels slightly less than in previous models. Nonetheless they are still a great fit for me. Time will tell how they wear but so far so good.
