Beware, sizing may differ from order to orderI have been wearing the Stella court shoes for years, and have loved them. But, I do have one complaint... the sizing is different from one order or color to the next! Sometimes they run small, and I have to return them for a half size larger, which makes it a little inconvenient, but all in all a GREAT shoe for people who need a wide toe box and have high arches.
Shoe loveSo comfortable, no break-in required. I have a bunion and hammertoe but I can play tennis all morning in these without discomfort. They have a generous toe box and provide stability while still feeling very cushy
shoe is wide/looseThe shoe does not say it is a wide, but it is very wide in toe box and around ankle. I wear Adidas all of the time and this was unusual fit. I put inserts in and they are ok/comfortable, just strangely wide.
Adidas Stella CourtWhile these shoes look great they have a big flaw. The tongue of the show goes up way too high and it is hard plastic and it rubs and cuts you when you walk. I couldn't even walk four feet in my house without getting a "tongue burn". Sent them back immediately
Great court shoeI am so appreciative of Tennis Warehouse's return policy. I got these shoes and really liked them but when I stepped on the court I really loved them! They have the right amount of support and an ample toe box. Great shoe!

CushionyA great shoe with extra cushiony sole. Roomy toe box but the heel fits normal. This is my 4th pair because of all the many brands I’ve bought these have a softer feel on the bottom of my feet. The laces are really long which is odd but ok to double knot. Wish they came in more colors.

Hope they correct the issueI purchased these shoes 6/26/2025, this is the 4th pair of the Stella McCartney tennis sneakers that I have purchased, I love the way they feel and the way they fit. I have worn this pair 4 times and since the first time I have worn them, I have been having problems with the right shoe. The first time I wore them I thought the tongue was too long and was causing so much discomfort, I retied them twice but still that didn't help, so I wore longer socks the next match. It continued to rub the area above my ankle more and created a cut and a bruise. The third time I wore them I put a bandage on and wrapped my ankle but they still were causing pain and discomfort. The fourth time I wore them thinking once the area healed it would be good, but it was still creating so much rubbing and discomfort, but I realized the toe box is slightly larger on the right shoe than the left shoe. My foot moved around so much, I feel like that was the main cause of the rubbing and the bruise.
Best shoes ever.These are the best shoes and the only ones I can wear straight out of the box. I love them. Please don’t ever get rid of them.
My favorite tennis shoesI have been wearing these Stella McCartney tennis shoes for about 8 years. There was a time when they stopped making them, but thankfully, they are now back - called Stella Court, but they are the same shoes. They are the only ones that are always ready for play, no break-in time needed. Perfect for me.
Great ShoeExcellent shoe.
Tried and trueUsed to have the Barricades for our team in college. I find the fit relatively the same but way cuter. Also the heel of the sneaker is not as chunky. The reason for 4 vs 5 stars, the pair does take some time to break in - the tongue rubbed awkwardly on my foot for a bit as did my original pair, but then it softens.
Love them, but worried about durabilityThese are my favorite tennis shoes, but they have changed the fabric in the heel area and it came loose from the back of the shoe the first time I wore them. It makes it difficult to put the shoe on and I am expecting it to rip soon. The all white version of this shoe uses a different material in the heel area that does not come loose.
Adidas Stella Court Tennis ShoesRead all the great reviews on TW and all the other great reviews by previous buyers so I was convinced to buy the shoe. Issue #1. First time I played tennis with these shoes, it I felt a skin irritation on my ankle from the edge of the shoe tongue. Ignored it. Bought higher ankle socks. Wrapped medical tape around a bandage for protection. (Not a great look for the tan line.) Second time I used it the exact same spot developed into a full blown blister. The tongue of the shoe is way too high and the edge is raw, not sewn, leaving the material to rub against the top of my ankle. This is either a design flaw or defect. Terrible. Way too complicated. Issue #2. Every single time I played in them, my feet would throb. Throb. Made no sense.
I was using New Balance wide width and thought I'd give these a try. Bad idea.
adidas Stella CourtMy all time favorite women’s tennis shoe. The new color combination of white/ silver/ blue is very appealing. Super comfortable with no break-in time. Good arch support.
I hope this will stay in the line for a while.
Structured differently than previous shoesI really loved the previous model of the Stella tennis shoes. These are nice, but I do not think I would be able to play tennis in them. Although the collar is low and does not hurt my ankles, the tongue is too high and even with thicker socks, it is rubbing against my foot. There seems to be more collar padding on this one compared to the older model. The design is very pretty.
size differenceI ordered 2 pairs: the white/silver/red and the white/silver/blue. The sizes were inconsistent. The white/silver/red were considerably bigger than the white/silver/blue.These shoes are expensive too.
I returned it and ended up getting the Game Court 2.
I will, however, buy the Stellas when they go on sale :)
ComfyThis is my third time buying this shoe. It has a very comfortable fit and better padding throughout the sole. The laces on my recent purchase are extra long which is is little odd but I always double know anyway. I really like this show for the perfect fit and extra comfort.
New interior liner defective at the heelI absolutely love Stella’s but they new models with the red and blue stripe have a different fabric at the heel that if very thin and fragile. It pulls away after just a couple wears and leaves it saggy and stretches out. I hope Adidas can go back to the original fabric.

terrible - the tongue digs into my anklesI really wanted to love these shoes but after wearing them a few minutes, I felt the tongue dig into my ankles.
LOVE!!!Love, love, love Stella tennis shoes! These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box, absolutely no break in time for me. I started out playing tennis (many years ago) with Nike and got plantar fasciitis, tried ASICS and had a stress fracture, went to these shoes five years ago and haven’t had any issues since. Would love to see it in some bright colors!!
Favorite shoe!PLEASE make more colors. I buy each one the minute they come out and hoard them in my closet. It fits true to size. Has cushion but provides support. I have a knee replacement and notoriously painful feet, but these shoes provide me with hours of comfort! More colors!!!!!!!!!
I don’t recommend this shoesTrue to size, looks great, comfortable shoe bed but the tongue irritates me.
Great fit, stability, comfort and lightweightThese shoes fit my foot perfectly with my high instep and medium to wide foot. I like that they are light so I can move quickly yet they are stable too. My only regret would be that there is no cushioning on the ball of my foot and that is where I’m having some tenderness

Great shoeThese are very comfortable with ample toe box room. However I had to tighten laces with the extra holes so the shoes wouldn't be too loose around heel area.
Wanted to like these, but too stiffI wanted to like these and even ordered my usual size as well as half a size bigger. While they felt better than lots of other tennis sneakers I've tried (I hate tennis sneakers - they are just not comfortable for my feet and have never been for my 40+ years of playing), they were too narrow/snug in the front and felt very stiff.
Too narrow in front, generally stiffAll tennis sneakers are stiff, but these felt pretty unforgiving as well as narrow in the front. Although they felt better than some others that I tried (KSwiss), I went up half a size and they still felt a little too snug in the width.
the best shoeFor a split second they got rid of my size (6.5) then I saw they were finally back in stock. I will cry if these ever get discontinued again!

Runs largeI made the mistake of taking them to a match without trying them on because the reviews were so good and I’m always the same size. But I needed three pairs of socks to make them fit. I think if I had purchased them in a smaller size, they would’ve been great
Good shoesGood shoes. First pair I got, though, the plastic piece on the top end of the tongue, under where the tie would be, fell off. Sent them back. Ordered another pair. Really like them. Good traction on the court, especially.
Good stability shoeI have been wearing the Stella boost for several years now. These are great stability shoes for the heavier and/or older player or for younger players that have very active feet!! When this show went out of development, I tried another model of shoes and got plantar fasciitis within a few months!!! Now that Stella court is back, I've been able to manage my injuries better knowing that my footwork will be stabilized and supported by these shoes. Hoping they start bringing back more colors.

STELLA COURT: BEST SHOE EVER!!!I am beyond THRILLED that Adidas listened to us tennis players and brought back the STELLA COURT. My feet are so happy! Not only are these the most comfortable tennis shoes that I have ever worn but they are super stylish! Now I hope that they will continue to listen and offer them in more colors including the beautiful all red shoe and the versatile all black shoe, both with the shiny details. So happy they are back!!!I’ve been looking for a shoe to replace the original Stella McCartney Barricades- have been wearing them (in every color) for years and years. My last pair was finally wearing out I could not find another shoe that fit as well and left me without aching feet. And then I saw they are making them again! I was afraid too good to be true- but they fit just the same and are wearable right out of the box with no issues. Thank you thank you. Now please make them in more colors!!

The bestThese shoes are the best for my sensitive feet. I have had plantar fasciitis and these are the only ones that keep the pain away. I really hope they restock sizes especially 6.5. It’s been a long time they have been out of stock of my size so sadly I’ve had to try other brands. I may have to move on if my size 6.5 does not come back.

Wider toe boxI love these shoes. This is around my eighth pair over many years. I love how they move on the court especially side to side. The wider toe box is perfect for me. Would love them in more colors again. I fit in a half size down 7.5 normally I wear an 8.0.

Very comfortableI have a narrow foot but slightly wide metatarsal area due to moderate bunion deformities- these shoes are very comfortable and well-padded. I can’t speak to the durability because I’ve only been wearing them for 3 weeks but no issues so far

Please make more!!I've been wearing this shoe for years! I've bought multiple colors every time they come out with another. I have narrow feet, but somehow this shoe works for me. I like the cushion it gives and the traction. I run hard and scramble a lot in my game and this shoe is my favorite. I've tried others, but keep coming back. PLEASE don't stop making this shoe! Fall apart very quicklyI’m disappointed in the lifespan of these sneakers. I play four to five times per week and after about two months these sneakers fell apart. I went to pull the tongue taut and the logo label ripped right off. The netting on the sides have also torn and fallen apart in such a short time. My feet are also narrow, which makes these sneakers a challenge to play on with stability and fast feet as the toe box is quite wide. I’ve had at least twice as much wear if not more from my old Nike Vapor Pro's which are still going strong and don’t show any real sign of wear. I switched to the Stella's when Nike discontinued their model, but sadly I’ll be moving on from these and continue to search for another replacement to the Vapor Pro's.
Stiffer than OriginalThese feel so much stiffer than the ones I have worn in the years past. I have about three different iterations of these, so I am quite familiar with the shoe. I will keep them and see how they respond over time, but if they don't mold to my feet like they used to, I will have to find a replacement sadly. I have a slightly narrow foot with high arches, and am an advanced player who plays multiple times a week, mostly on hard courts.

Tongue too stiffI was so looking forward to getting this shoe, but had to return them as the tongue was so stiff and uncomfortable. I did not want to risk it not softening so I decided to return them. Other than that they were super comfortable, but the tongue was a deal breaker for me.

Stella is Back!I have worn the Stella shoe for years and love it! I was so excited to see them back in stock and ordered immediately! The shoe was comfortable as always! BUT, this time the tong is too long and it is ridged. I played in them and when I took them off both of my feet had cuts on them where the tongue hit on the top of my feet.

First pair of Stella'sThank you TW.. a fellow player raved about her Stellas and I had not been able to find them anywhere except TW! I love the Avacourt for comfort and molding to my foot. I found I had to have break-in time with my new Stella's (maybe 3-4 1hr sessions). Now when I put them on they are incredibly comfortable. I need toe box room to keep from getting black toenails and these are perfect. Wear size 8 and they are true to size, no need to go up or down in size. Hope they keep making a good thing!!
TOLD MY FRIENDS THAT THESE SHOES ARE BACK!!!!I've owned about 6 pairs of these shoes and were disheartened when they disappeared. PLEASE Adidas! Bring them back in more colors and don't stop making them again! They have a nice comfortable (wide-ish) toe box, length is right, weight is right and super comfortable and responsive on the court. They wear well and are just THE BEST! Wear them on clay courts here in FLorida
BEST pickleball shoe on the marketI have worn many brands of court shoes for pickleball, and nothing compares to the comfort of these shoes. When they discontinued them, I was forced to bounce between other brands that were subpar at best. These are the only shoes that give enough support in the heal to prevent plantar fasciitis, etc. Will be buying 3 pairs because I am worried they will discontinue them again.
Stella Court Vs Ava CourtSo excited that adidas is again selling the Stella Court tennis shoes! I love the look and feel of these shoes. Although the AvaCourt is the next best thing, they aren't as good looking or as comfy! I hope that the Red and Black Stella Court tennis shoes return so that I can repurchase. My black Stella Court shoes are very worn and I had to pitch the red Stella court shoes after wearing them out!! They were so good looking and so comfortable and well suit for my game that I believe that they added to my winning tennis game! lol I need these shoes to be back in my tennis wardrobe! DO NOT EVER DISCONTINUE AGAIN!I almost cried when these shoes were discontinued. I have been wearing them for over 10 years on the court. No shoe compares. I had to switch in the lsat couple of months because I couldn't' find them in my size anymore and nothing compares. So, so, so happy they are back in stock.
Please never stop making this shoe!!!This is the only shoe that people with long feet can wear. Its the only shoe that doesn't give me planters fasciitis and is wide enough in the toe width for movement to be comfortable. My whole tennis team will only wear these. Best Tennis Shoes Ever!These are the only tennis shoes that fit my flat feet and don’t aggravate heal pain. They are so comfy, soft and have a great heal support and cushion. Please don't ever stop making this shoe!!!!I was so happy to see these available again (and in white!) I have so many problems with my feet and these are the only tennis sneakers I can wear that don't cause problems for me. They are comfortable out of the box, hold up well and don't hurt my feet (bunions, flat, wide feet). I have yet to find another tennis sneaker that is this good, after many uncomfortable attempts searching for other options when these were not available! I know several other people who are Stella Court devotees, who are similarly happy with their return. To the folks at adidas, if you are listening, please don't ever stop making this shoe!
