Not for meCame from adidas Ubersonic. This shoe is a horrible fit for me personally. Wear adidas Solematch Control on hard court. Had to order a clay version of Solematch Control from Europe. Hopefully Tennis Warehouse will get more clay court versions in the future.
Better than ExpectedI bought these b/c they were wide. They worked, they were wide, and gave me the room I wanted. They didn't need to be worn in. They are lightweight. They have great traction. I will probably buy another pair before they sell out.
Nice Shoethis review is for the wide model. after toe surgery, I needed something a little bit wider. And this model seems to work well. the toe box in the Asics resolution was crunching my toes together and probably caused the injury. I haven't worn the black pair yet. I like to wear them around the house for a week or two before I use them on the court. But I've purchased two previous pairs in the white color and continue to re-buy them when the soles wear down. I use a custom insole from my podiatrist, and you can easily swap them out. this is the only wide model that I have found that works for me. It is not super wide so you would slide around in the shoe. It's just a little bit wider so your toes don't get crunched :-)
Too narrowI ordered these shoes with memorial day discount. Usually wearing size 9 2e, these model is too narrow
OKLightweight shoe with narrow fit and good support. Fairly stiff for me until broken in. Adequate heel cushion but nothing special. Overall I like the shoe but would be hard pressed to pick it over the Solution Speed, which does everything this shoe does but better.
