Introducing the Ultra 100 v5 Roland Garros! Featuring the same specs and playability as the standard version, this racquet's color-way is inspired by the legendary dirt of the French Open. Defined by easy acceleration from the baseline and quick handling at net, the Ultra 100v5 is the perfect tool for playing aggressive tennis (think power and spin). Bring back Steam 100Wilson already perfected the formula with the Steam 100 (16x20, 27.25” length). I still have three left—please bring it back. Stop introducing inferior new models and return to what actually worked.

2025 UltraI believe the 2025 Ultra is an improvement over the previous model. Not as stiff, with a larger sweet spot. The power in my opinion is more controlled and the spin (with the right string) is better. I can drive my two-handed backhand with more depth and power. Serving is more precise. I am a 4.0 tournament player and thinking about switching to this racquet.

An Upgrade in the Right DirectionThe Ultra 100 v5 is in terms of feeling on the ball , way better than the v4's overall feel and performance. They will play fairly similarly but the v5 is definitley a step in the right direction in better feel. Compared to the Pure D 100 and Ezone 100 , somewhere between the two. It has a similar stiffness profile but doesn't feel as stiff as the other two, but I would say it's a little less powerful but a little more controlled than those 2 main competitors. If you can generate your own heavy spin, then it's amazing, otherwise it's goning to hit a ball similar to the Clash (depth but no penetration).
