Almost a Perfect BagFirst thing I want to let people know is that the racquet compartment holds 2 racquets perfectly. I can fit 3, but 3 is snug.
This bag hits a lot of checks for me. It looks good, the organization is really good, and the materials are also great. This is just my opinion, but I also don't love backpacks, and I feel like a 6-9 racquet bag as a recreational player can be pretentious.
Here are the cons. The biggest con for me is that there isn't a cross body strap, which effectively only makes this bag a good option if you're only taking the bag from the car to the court. Also, the bag doesn't have a ton of structure, so it won't hold its shape on its own, and if something has a weird shape in the bag, the bag will start to take on a weird shape.
Anyways, I love this bag, hence the 5 star review, but I thought I'd include the cons to consider as well.
Perfect DesignBeen using this bag for the last two weeks. This updated design is just what the Wilson duffel needed. The side pocket dedicated to the racquets makes this bag much more functional as it completely opens up the interior space of this bag for anything you need. You can fit two racquets in the dedicated side pocket very comfortably. Shoe tunnel port is now taller which makes packing & unpacking shoes much easier. Interior mesh pockets keep everything organized. The Wilson flagship red colorway, the high quality material, the modern tennis duffel style… this bag is a slam dunk.
