Overview

Introducing the TF40 315 (16x19)! This new addition to Tecnifibre's line combines speed and spin with impressive feel and pocketing. It also has a 16x19 string pattern, making it slightly more spin-friendly than the original TF40 315 (18x20). Although it is the heaviest model in the TF40 family, this stick packs a very speedy swingweight (313-RDC), making it great for whipping up pace and spin or cranking winners on the run. It also offers very quick handling at net while feeling surprisingly stable when redirecting pace. Technologies include a stable RS Sharp beam along with Dynacore XTC for extra touch, dwell time and pocketing. This racquet also has Foam Inside for a more solid feel at impact. Ultimately, the TF40 315 (16x19) is a great option for intermediate players who want a precise and spin-friendly weapon with great feel. It's also a worthy option for advanced players who crave raw speed.

TF40 315I have been using Yonex Ezones 98 for some years now and it was time to switch, TF 40 315 came very close to the specifications and I really love this racquet, nice feel and swing for my kind of game. Gives me flexibility that I need for drop/slice and generates enough power when needed.

Bad shoulder loves this tennis racquetI have been on a racquet journey for the last four years trying to find something that works well for a OBH but also is easy on my shoulder. I really liked the Wilson Pro Staff v14 - point and shoot and great control and its easy maneuverability really fit my game, but the 66 RA did not mesh with my shoulder. Wilson Clash- great for my shoulder bad for my game. Head Speed MP- good for shoulder but hard for me with OHB. Yonex Vcore 95 - great maneuverability, pretty easy on my shoulder- but I'm not good enough to use it. I always wanted to try the Tecnifibre TF40 315 16X19, but my local shop did not carry Tecnifibre and I always tested a racquet before buying. Tennis Warehouse had a great Christmas price so I took a gamble and I am sure glad I did. Maneuverable, great for my OHB, and once I settled on Yonex Poly Tour Pro at 51 pounds everything fell into place. Biggest plus is I have a racquet that allows me to play my type of game and the 64 RA along with the foam core is very easy on my shoulder. I am a low 4.0 and play singles and doubles

Great control and feelI'm a 4.0 recreational player and was looking for a control and feel oriented racquet. The TF-40 315 checks all the boxes. I'm able to consistently hit great shots and the feeling is nice and plush. I'm able to generate a decent amount of spin, and the low power profile fits my game style. The slick aesthetics is a nice bonus.

Tecnifibre TF40I have been using a Wilson racquet over the past 12 years and borrowed a friend’s Tecnifibre and was hooked. I chose the TF40 and have loved it! I play at the 4.0 & 4.5 level and have loved the head heavy touch and feel, it has improved my control and precision. It took a few times to play with to adjust but now I wouldn’t want to play with anything else!

Excellent, Versatile Racquet! This racquet was quite great to hit with, as it is both maneuverable (head light balance & lower swingweight) and stable (11.7 oz. strung weight). This is the combination that I look for in racquets as I want a racquet that handles pace well but also makes it easy to hit groundstrokes and also move forward. The 16x19 string pattern also provides great spin too. Ultimately, I decided to switch over to an 18x20 string pattern racquet, but I recommend this racquet for anyone looking to be aggressive and dictate from any part of the court!

Previous Feedback

Comments: The best racquet I've ever used- hands down. I'm a 5.0 player; had been using the original TF40 with 18x20 pattern for a while but gave up due to lack of spin and easy pace, particularly on serve. Always wanted a 16x19 version as nothing else I tried felt as good as the TF40 frames and had that nice plow. Went over to the Head Extreme Tour and then the Tecnifibre T-Rebound Iga stick, customized with some lead in the handle and hoop - great stick, nice and crisp, but lacks a bit of feel and heft. Finally Tecnifibre releases the 16x19 version and it's everything I hoped it would be. Feels like my old Pro Staff 90- the dwell time on contact is beautiful; the control is outstanding; the spin is huge; the feel is just perfection. Tried a lot of frames over the years but nothing comes close to this - truly has absolutely everything in one package.
