Serena Williams begun playing tennis at the age of 4 with her sister Venus Williams, coached by their parents in Compton, California, before moving to Florida to attend a tennis academy. Father Richard Williams eventually took over coaching duties again until Serena took the world by storm. This unique timeline piece highlights some of Serena's more important career moments. The first image was taken on 4/20/91 on a public tennis court in Compton. The final image was taken on 1/28/17 as she won her 23rd career Grand Slam singles title. Williams has autographed this limited edition (50) "Humble Beginnings" 36" x 15" designed image in fluorescent yellow paint pen. Her signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
