Customer Reviews
Toe box length keeps changingI loved the fit of Zoom Vapor11 (last version, regular width).
Vapor11 accommodated for moderately wide feet as the sides gave in a little without sacrificing stability AND for those in need of a longer toe box.
The Vapor12 is well made, hence the 4 stars, but the toe box length felt shorter than Vapor11. I tried 1/2 size up, added insets, but my heels still slipped out of the shoe. It’s hard to stay dedicated to a shoe with changing fit.
excelentgreat fit
ComfortableThis shoe is the closest in fit and comfort to the discontinued Nike Court Zoom NXT which they stopped selling a few years ago, and I’ve tried at least 20 shoes since then to try to mimic the fit and style. I’m so excited they’ve come out with this new shoe and I plan to stockpile them, because I know Nike will change the style or discontinue the shoe quickly!!!
Not as good as the Vapor 11these are not as comfy as the Vapor 11, they're more narrow and the toe box is wider. I don't get why they would change the design of the Vapor 11, it was my favorite hard court shoe nike made and this new version is nothing like it.
Not as supportiveBeen a big Vapor 11 fan. I came to Nike Vapor 11 from Asics, when Asics redesigned my favorite shoe, resulting in a less supportive shoe that squeezed at the top of my feet. I am having deja vu with these Nikes after a week of wearing them- they are not as supportive and squeezing at the top of my feet. Bummer. I am going to try some thin insoles to see if they help. My usual insoles/inserts are too large. But overall I prefer the comfy, supportive feel of the Vapor 11.
Good shoesRecommend
Same but differentIf you have had these in the past they will not be the same and I would say do not buy them. I have another friend who bought them too and we have the same things to say about them. They are awful compared to the old ones all around.
Great shoe but not the zoom Vapor 11 feelLove the shoe and wore out of the box with no issues. The shoe feels great but I prefer the Nike Zoom Vapor shoe.
I bought the white and black ones too. I wear 7.5 size shoe in Nike. I play tennis 3-5 times a week and the shoes last about 6 months. The sole of shoe wears through so the grip isn’t there.
Good old model, overpricedSame model as 10 years ago, but now priced twice higher! Great model though, the only one that feels light and compact on my feet, comparing to other Nike models.
