Shoe toreThe shore tore on the very first use.
Bought two more pairsComfortable and lots of support for lateral moves in pickleball. Too bad this model is discontinued and the new model has a raised back which aggravates my Achilles tendon.
So different than the 1006They are no longer low profile, keeping you low to the court. The laces are completely different, cutting off circulation on the top of my foot. They feel very heavy and clunky, missing the sleekness of the 1006. Switched back over to new 996 V5's.
Comfortable right out of the boxI tend to wear down soles so used to only purchase those that have a 6 month guarantee. But after encountering hassles with Adidas not honoring the 6 month guarantee I went in search of another brand of shoe. I'm glad I've found these as they are now my "go-to" shoes! Sometimes New Balance shoes can feel a little heavy/clunky, but these are not. I find them breathable and lightweight, yet sturdy.
Stability shoesThese shoes are sometimes described as heavy. If you have foot concerns like me, plantar fasciitis, bunions, loss of padding or foot pain, these shoes are the best I have found. No foot pain - good stability & cushioning. I do not have a problem moving in them. Would just like more color options, but this is a great shoe!
My new go-to shoesThese are my new "go-to" shoes after I could no longer find the Adidas Stella McCartney Barricade. They are ready to play in out of the box and are light and breathable (unlike some of the other New Balance models).
