A little difficult if you have a high instepWhen I first tried to put these on I was afraid I'd have to return them. I have an unusually high instep and I could barely get them on my feet. I have to lift the tongue way up and out to put them on. That said, once on they were surprisingly comfortable. Just wide enough, and though a tiny bit snug I can play for a couple hours without any discomfort. Well cushioned. I don't know if I'd buy them again, but for the moment I'm perfectly satisfied.
Good shoeComfortable, I will order again
Comfort has changed compared to previous yearI have been purchasing tennis shoes from Tennis Warehouse almost every year, and overall I have always been very satisfied with the service. However, this year I was a bit disappointed with my most recent shoe purchase.
I ordered my usual size, yet the shoes felt very narrow. The last pair I purchased was from New Balance, in a wide fit, and the same model, brand, and size I always buy. Despite this, the interior feels very uncomfortable and excessively tight, even though I have narrow feet. I am not sure what has changed, but these shoes were so uncomfortable that I was unable to wear them, and they even caused back discomfort.
Aside from this issue, all other items I have purchased from Tennis Warehouse have always been of excellent quality, and deliveries have consistently arrived on time and in good condition.
I am sharing this feedback as constructive criticism, with the hope that it will be taken into account in the future. I would appreciate it if the New Balance tennis shoes I purchased could return to the level of interior comfort they had in the past.

Great shoes at a very reasonable priceI needed a wider shoe. I took a chance on these. Boy am I glad that I did. They are very comfortable, light weight, and look to be well made and durable. Also at a very attractive price.
So stiffI have a wide foot, so my shoe choices are really limited. The New Balance shoes always look so dope, and I love the color ways. This is the third time I have tried a pair of NB shoes and they kill my feet. Wear the my toes bend, it always feels so stiff, to the point that even walking in my living room trying the shoes on, hurts my feet.
ShoesI have 12 pair of New Balance shoes and this pair is as comfortable as my most favorite pair. Very light and gives exceptional support!
Wide, comfortable and good looking.Great option if you are looking for a wide and comfortable shoe. It is low to the ground so it lacks a bit of support but it compensates by being very comfortable and light enough to move quickly around the court with confidence.
New Balance MC696 - solid and comfortableThese shoes were great right out of the box. I bought the 2E width because of my duck feet, and they fit perfectly. Surprisingly, I never thought about having new shoes the entire time I started playing, which means that they had to be comfortable. I’ll definitely buy them again.
Great sneakersFor the price you cannot beat these sneakers for under $100 extremely comfortable where well light and I'm using them for pickleball I would highly recommend them a matter of fact I bought a second pair
NB shoesGreat looking shoe, but the construction has a little bit of a flat, thin feel rather than a thick support feel and it runs a full size smaller than listed. I ordered 13 and had to send it back and get a 14, but it was a great price, and the shoe is very comfortable and no problems on the court with movements or support.
Highly ComfortableShoe is very comfortable no breaking in needed.
A 4 for tread life, otherwise 5 all around.This is a nice shoe for slightly wide feet. A few hours break-in at the most. Comfortable, not too bulky or long (many same size shoes run 0.5 inches longer) that might make you feel slower or sluggish on the court. Used primarily for singles play, this is a speedy shoe that is supportive, but not too bulky that you lose a feel for the court and that grippy feel you need when pivoting and changing direction. Only knock is that it doesn't last too long. 4 to 5 days a week of singles and it lasts me 2 months at the most.
Wide foot happinessI got these men’s shoes because I’m a woman with wide feet and women’s shoes typically aren’t wide enough for me even when they say they’re wide. I use an insert so I need this extra room and these shoes have it. They are comfortable and I feel they are solid on the court.
