The New Balance 696v5 provides the classic comfort that New Balance is known for, while having a lightweight feel, and an outsole that works well on a variety of surfaces. The upper, is made from a combination of synthetic leather and mesh for a plush and supportive feel, and has perforations to help with ventilation. A full length EVA midsole supplies shock absorption and padding underfoot, while the outsole has been updated with a multi-directional herringbone pattern which will offer plenty of traction on a variety of surfaces. This is the standard D width offering.
