Having a reputation as one of the most comfortable, supportive, and stable shoes on the market, the New Balance CT Rally 2 D Clay is now updated in its fourth iteration, and is here to carry on the legacy! Formerly known as the Lav, Lav v2, and CT Rally (1st gen), this update delivers the plush and cushioned ride that the line is known for, featuring Fresh Foam X located in the midsole. With an all new upper design, the Ndure technology has been updated to provide more ventilation, while still providing durability in drag zones, and FantomFit gives a seamlessly comfortable and flexible feel on top of the foot. The NDurance rubber has been re-formulated to provide an even grippier feel on court, and is molded into a full herringbone tread pattern that is designed specifically for use on clay courts.
- Upper: NDure upper with a new design that keeps the flexibility, and support, but adds more breathability and comfort. External frame in the heel and FantomFit for increased lock-down and ankle support.
- Midsole: Fresh Foam X for a plush a comfortable ride, and increased energy return compared to Fresh Foam.
