This shoe features a one-time TW 6-month outsole durability guarantee. If you wear through the outsole within 6-months of purchasing from Tennis Warehouse you can return the pair for replacement.

Please note:

  • Warranty only covers the rubber outsole of the shoe. Damage to the toe-guard or upper of the shoe does not qualify for the warranty replacement.
  • Shoe must be completely worn through the outsole and into the midsole or insole of the shoe.
  • Warranty is void if the shoe is abused or mishandled.

One of the lightest and most comfortable performance shoes on the market, now features added support, a more padded tongue, and increased lock-down.

One of the most comfortable and speedy high-performance shoes on the market, the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 7 carries on the legacy but improves upon the support and stability of past generations. For a more locked-in feel around the ankles, Mizuno has enhanced the lacing on the upper eyelets, and the tongue extends higher up on top of the foot; two key areas where Mizuno received feedback and made the fix. The cushioning remains plush, but now has more energy return with Enerzy NXT concentrated at the ball of the foot and heel; Enerzy XP is added to the insole for even more padding. For those hard court grinders, Mizuno engineered the DX Rubber compound as their strongest and most wear resistant to date. To top things off, the Wave Exceed Tour 7 remains as one of the lightest shoes to be backed by a six-month outsole durability guarantee.

  • Upper: 3-D Solid material for a soft feel and flexibility, with durability and breathability. Tongue and eyelets are extended higher up on the foot for increased support and lock-down.
  • Midsole: Enerzy NXT next generation of midsole material for maximum energy return and cushioning. PoWnCe offer lightweight, and responsive cushioning. D-Flex Groove enables greater flexibility for pivots and turns. Updated Mizuno Wave plate for increased lateral stability and adds energy as you push off.
  • Outsole: DX Rubber outsole is the most wear resistant rubber that Mizuno has designed. Outsole grips well on a variety of surfaces but is ideal for hardcourts. Backed by a six month outsole durability guarantee.
  • Color: Black

Simply the Best!I have played with the 5's and 6's as well as most flagship tennis shoes from each company the past 8 years. The Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 7's are currently the best tennis shoes on the market, and a noticeable improvement from the 6's. What makes these shoes the best? The first thing you will notice after trying them on is comfort. These shoes do not require any break in and will fit a wide variety of feet. I have many boney protrusions in each foot which can cause pain with many different brands, but I have no foot pain with these shoes. The shoes are very light, yet stable. The shoes wrap around your feet in such a way that they almost feel like an extension of your feet. The cushion is a nice blend of responsiveness and shock absorption. The cushion is very similar to the Asics Solution Speed FF 2's (The 3's are rocks and the 4's are only slightly better). Traction is excellent on hardcourts, and I assume durability is above average for a speed shoe since it has a 6-month warranty. The biggest difference between the 6's and the 7's is the tongue. While the 6's had one of the thinnest tongues imaginable, the 7's have a rather plush tongue which eliminates your shoelaces digging into the top of your foot. This was definitely a noticeable problem with the 6's and I am glad that Mizuno listened to customers and corrected it in the 7's. Overall, these are great shoes and I highly recommend them.

Less support but more comfortPrevious version is better. The tour 7s are more comfortable overall but less ankle support that lead to more foot pain. Have to go back to the tour 6s. Great for coaching but not for competitive play.

Downgrade from the version 6Previous version is better. The 7s are more comfortable overall but less ankle support that lead to more foot pain. Have to go back to the 6s. Great for coaching but not for competitive play.

W shoesThese shoes are actually so nice. They feel really light on feet but still supportive, which I like a lot when moving quick on the court. They were comfortable pretty much right away and didn’t feel stiff like some court shoes do. The grip is really good too, and overall they just feel fast, stable, and clean. Definitely one of my favorite court shoes I’ve tried.

Best tennis shoe I’ve ever had. These shoes are amazing. I started with the Exceed 6 and now the 7s. The 6 month warranty is also a great deal. My son plays 6 days a week and wore his out a they honored the warranty painlessly. I play less and haven’t worn mine out.

FinallySince I started playing about 5 years ago, I have been wanting to try out this model but never played in these because of the awful, thin, stitched tongue. Well, finally with this update we have a traditional, comfortable tongue and as for the entire performance of this shoe, I have not been let down. In fact, this might be my favorite tennis shoe so far. It’s exactly the kind of profile I want from a shoe - lightweight, flexible, nimble and fluid all while still boasting comfort and stability. The best thing I can say about this shoe is that I don’t think about it at all while I’m playing. It really feels like an extension of my foot. Fit is very one to one, I would say its albeit very snug at first but it doesn’t take long for the upper to stretch and loosen a bit and be fully broken in. I really like the upper on these, the cushion is the perfect balance of being low profile and responsive with just a nice touch of comfort. Can’t comment on durability, maybe if they struggle to hold up I would knock a star off my review but as of now I have no complaints and wanted to state just how great these shoes are. After many years of trying out different shoes, I think I’ve found the one I want to stick with forever or at least until the next model.

FantasticFor years I have worn the different iterations of the zoom vapor line, and was always wanting something more durable as I play multiple times a week. This shoe fits everything I could ever need. Comfortable,, fits true to size, stable, maneuverable, with a solid outsoul that I won't wear through in a few days of playing. Have hit around and played doubles in them so far for maybe 15 total hours and you can't see any wear or tear yet. If you're looking for a stable lightweight durable shoe, this is what you're looking for!

Better than Wave Exceed Tour 6These are great court shoes. They feel so flexible and nimble on the court. There are tons of reviews online for the 6's. This version is very similar except it has a better tongue. It's thicker so there is less lace irritation. This was one issue that a lot of people had with the previous ones.

Fast of course, but sturdier than mostFaster and more supported than I would've thought for their weight. As long as I stay on the balls of my feet, these are great.
