If Quiet is what you need!Pickleball sound is a big problem in some places. I was asked to test the sound level of this paddle and I can report that it is 4 or 5 decibels quieter than the average paddle but just as important, its pitch is low -- a thud instead of a pop, and that just makes the sound less annoying. I played with it and the softer surface does help with ball control. Take note: it is not USA Pickleball approved for sanctioned tournament play but it certainly is quieter!
