The most luxurious and forgiving member the Gravity family gets updated with better feel for 2023

For 2023, Head updates the most powerful and comfortable member of the Gravity family while keeping the quick handling and spin-friendly targeting of the previous generation. Named the Gravity Team, this racquet's 104 square inch head is undeniably plush and forgiving without compromising control. As a result, it's perfect for improving players who want accuracy but could use a  slightly larger margin of error. It also packs enough speed and stability at net for those who want a comfortable and user-friendly option for doubles. As with other members of the Gravity family, this racquet's teardrop head is wider near the tip, resulting in a noticeably more responsive, comfortable and spin-friendly contact zone. For 2023, Head adds Auxetic Technology to the throat piece, enabling the racquet to flex optimally according to impact location. This racquet also benefits from Graphene 360+ which combines the stability and easy power of polarized weighting with SpiralFibers in the lower head for a softer feel. With incremental tweaks to the feel, the Gravity Team continues to be an obvious option for those who want a light and user-friendly entry point into the unmistakable comfort and controllable power of the Gravity series.

Power and touch all in oneBought several of these to introduce some of my students to Head Racquets. I ended up playing with one strung with Head Lynx Tour 17 string. As on old school serve and volley player in doubles, this has become my go to racquet. I can play with power or touch when needed. Also allows me to hit any type serve with confidence. Recommend the racquet for high level doubles players who need some forgiveness (bigger hitting area) if they may have lost a step.

Great racquet!I’m a beginner and haven’t played with too many different racquets, but this definitely feels like a premium racquet. I love it!

Head Gravity Team 2023I enjoy playing with this racquet and I like the lighter weight. I strung it up with a multifilament and strung it at the maximum tension. I like the fact it is not too heavy to get around on balls that are pushing me around. Every racquet has pro's and con's and this one works well for me. I just play recreational tennis and am 60+ years old, but I play with a lot of younger people and this racquet keeps me in the games. I mainly use the multifilament string to alleviate any issues with my elbow and it works fine.

4 StarsI like this racquet, I bought it because I was told this is a Beginner's racquet, but I find this racquet still a little challenging to use competitively and I've only been playing for a couple years. The sweet spot is rather small, so I at times struggle to return a good shot unless I can really step into a swing.

ReviewVery stable racquet, very light and maneuverable. Colorway is beautiful. Only downside is the lack of power and spin.

Head Gravity Team | Sound RacquetI’ve been looking for a new racquet for a bit and really liked the idea of Head Gravity lineup. Being a 3.0-3.5 rec player my heart said get the Pro or MP but my head said try the Team version instead due to the slight increase in head size. The launch angle has been a slight adjustment on balls I don’t commit to, but overall I’ve been a pretty big fan of the racquets in the few months I’ve owned them. I’ve over wrapped immediately and plan to likely add a little weight under the grommet and to the cap during the next restringing just to slightly bump the weight up and keep the balance similar. I’ve purchased from TW several times and always had great results! By the way…. I enjoy the review videos and racquet finder search engine as well!!!

Head GravityAwesome racquet for control. Well balanced. When you strike on the sweet spot the ball explodes toward its target. The grip did unravel prematurely and I’m not sure why.

Best racquet for intermediate playerI had been looking for several years for a racquet that was both soft for the arm and powerful enough to repel my opponents while keeping good control. The Head Gravity Team meets all these criteria. Ultra soft for the arm and elbow, it is powerful enough to counter opponents and even attack at the bottom of the court. In addition, it retains exemplary control even during off-center strikes. For an intermediate player, it is perfect. I've been playing tennis for 58 years now. It is a racquet that meets all the performance criteria for me.

Very pleasedI was very pleased with all the advice the folks at TW gave me about which racquets to choose and the ease of the loaner program. I was sure I wanted to buy a Wilson but added the Head to compare. Much to my surprise I got more power and control from the Head racquet. Four stars only because I was surprised the handle is shorted than I realized and I miss that extra length when serving.
