Dunlop adds a new chapter to the CX 200 OS! Like the previous generation, this 2027 update combines a comfortable response with easy power and enough spin potential to bring the ball down on target. Boasting a forgiving 105 square inch head, the CX 200 OS enables intermediates to achieve clean contact with the ball (think confidence). It also packs a 21.5 mm box beam, giving it impressive control and feel compared to many of its competitors. Thanks to a sub-315 swingweight, the CX 200 OS comes around fast, and the open 16x19 string pattern supplies enough spin to keep the ball inside the lines. For this update, Dunlop increases power and torsional stability by stiffening the frame below the 2/10 o'clock axis. To accommodate this change, Dunlop repositions Sonic Core with Infinergy to better dampen the shock of impact. Comfort is further enhanced by Vibroshield, a highly elastic dampening agent in the shaft and lower hoop. Like the previous generation, this model features Powergrid Stringtech+, which features wider cross-string spacing to enhance spin and power. Ultimately, with some noticeable tweaks to the feel and response, this racquet remains a great option for the intermediate player who wants a more forgiving and powerful ride without any deal breakers in the control department.
