Born in 1994, the Babolat Pure Drive epitomizes the speed, power, and spin of the modern game

The Pure Drive is popular for a reason. Boasting an appeal that cuts across ability levels, this modern player's racquet offers an unmistakably easy learning curve to virtually anyone looking to play aggressive tennis. Although it reserves its greatest charm for the baseliner who likes dictating action with heavy pace, it's also dangerous in the front court, where the quick handling and powerful response practically beg you to finish volleys with a bang. Serving is another strength of the Pure Drive, where surgically placed slices and kickers are as easy to hit as flat bombs down the T. For 2025, Babolat enhances comfort with an updated version of NF2 Tech, a dampening technology that uses flax fibers in the throat to smooth out harsh vibrations. This model also inherits FSI Power from the previous generation, consisting of a bundle of technologies that enable the racquet to transfer more energy to the ball (think easy power). Other features include Babolat's HTR System, a layup construction that stiffens the hoop in a way that not only enhances power but also creates more stability and less frame wobble on off-center impact (think rebound control). Ultimately, for the player who wants a lightning-fast racquet with easy access to power and spin, there are few better options than the Pure Drive. The fact that this generation is softer and more comfortable than previous versions is a very nice bonus.

This model is version 11

Epic Cosmetic Same Pure DriveJust picked it up, looks stunning in person. I put the Xalt string on this and it just makes it look like a museum piece. Plays amazing, glad I got this one and not the normal blue one. Good job Babolat

powerfulI am 65 years old 5.0 NTRP all around player, been playing for 50 years use to play with Wilson Blade 98 for 8 years , then Yonex Ezone 98, for 8 years, all were great racquets, then I felt I needed some power I am not as strong as I used to, switched to head radical MP, great racquet good power, but for some reason lost my volleys and slice, something was missing I don't know what it is, and I am a good doubles player, then finally changed to Babolat, which I played with 30 years ago, it is amazing with great power and control, I strung it with Mach 10 Solinco at 53 pounds, and OMG , I got everything back, this racquet has it all, I recommend it for advance and intermediate players, you will love it especially if you are a doubles player.

Love it and excited to use it!I purchased this racquet after a lot of research and for my playing style and level, I felt this was ideal. I didn't go with the standard stringing options, and instead went for a bit more forgiving and long lasting hybrid string (synthetic/Nylon) and Polyester combination - this is making a big difference on the feel and shot play as well. Its only been about 1-2 months, but so far a good quality racquet and Tennis Warehouse made it easy enough to get it.

Great RacquetI bought this to upgrade to 2025 as I prefer to move on with time rather than lingering on the past thanks to TW trade in program cause I keep my racquets in good shape and they give a good trade in credit towards new. New racquet is more comfortable and has more power. The biggest adjustment is muted feeling that new has as opposed to previous one. You'll be fine in two hours and adjusted. You can stay with previous version and you don't have to buy new unless you are like me, previous one is great.

Decent RacquetThis is a racquet that prevents you from playing half way shots expecting for buck-ups to work. You will need to swing all the way with this racquet. I find it helps my play especially when working to improve setting to play a point.

Love this RacquetPlenty of power and spin... much less jarring than previous models. I played every power racquet and this was my excalibur.
