This arm-friendly string provides solid performance to players with shorter strokes, and there's some blistering pace available to those who swing fast. Alpha Gut 2000 will also add comfort to a hybrid or stiff racquet. This is one of the best value strings at Tennis Warehouse. Try this 16 gauge version for more durability than the other gauges.

A classic multifilamentThis is a string that has stood the test of time - was recommended to me by a stringer over 20 years ago and I've been using it ever since. Cheapest multifilament string on the market, good for feel when used on cross with a poly, (unbreakable) on mains. Shame I can't get this in Europe so have to pay for shipping from the US.

Previous Feedback

Comments: I use this string as a main and Tourna Big Hitter Silver 17 as a cross at 54 pounds. It feels really good strung on a Yonex Ai98 frame which is just enough pocketing of string versus flex of my racquet. Strings lasts max of 5-6 hours of play before strings feels dead, pops, or movement of the main strings is too much. I used to play with full poly and it tore my elbow up over the years and so far tennis elbow has not been triggered with these hybrid setup. If you own a stringing machine then price point for this string is a no brainer.

Comments: I'm a non-string breaker that currently plays with a RF97 and a weighted-up Yonex SV 95. This string plays very soft and muted. I like a multi string with more feedback, however, experimenting with this one as a cross since it's a low-cost string with very good playability duration that's also very easy on the arm. I also enjoy it's medium-to-low powered performance which enables me to take a bigger swing. I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this string, I think it could be a good fit for some people. I've been dealing with arm issues after trying polys, and I certainly feel safe hitting with these.
