Maximum comfort, great pocketing, controllable power

Introducing REXIS FEEL! With this string, Yonex has created one of the most advanced multifilaments on the market. In addition to protecting your arm with an army of flexible filaments, REXIS Feel benefits from Rubber Polymer Capsules, which are embedded within the filaments to amplify elasticity and pocketing. This string also benefits from a high modulus polyurethane, which not only helps prevent frictional wear (think durability) but also enables the strings to snap back more effectively during impact (think spin). Ultimately, with its high comfort, controllable power and above average durability, Yonex has created a very seductive and versatile multifilament.

  • Gauge: 16/1.30mm
  • Length: 39ft/12m
  • Composition: Multifilament (made with highly elastic FORTIMO polyurethane)
  • Color: Natural

Yonex Rexis Feel 16/1.30 StringUsing the Goldilocks analogy; they are just right. I don't need/want a power stringing, just the knowledge that the strings are going to guide the ball to the target. One thing to note; you'll see the fraying of the strings in the sweet spot, it is the nature of these strings. I have played 6 months after they look frazzled and no loss of quality. That is about as far as I push it.

Disagree with the descriptionI loved the description of the string, and like Yonex strings so I bought two reels (one natural, one black). It's been a long time since I have been so disappointed in a string. Although it is a soft string, its durability is terrible. I can go though this string as a cross with PolyTour Rev in two hours on a ball machine. It's even worse with PolyTour Drive, and barely better when it is a full set. The black plays even more muted than the natural, but the coating seems to wear even faster. As soon as the coating wears, which is less than 30 minutes of play, the string bed becomes more inconsistent. I think the type of player that could use it is someone who swings slow, and doesn't use a lot of spin. I can think of quite a few better strings than this (e.g. Velocity MLT, Gosen AK Pro CX, Prince Premier Control) for me.
