Wilson Vesper Control Pickleball Paddle
Overview
The Wilson Vesper Control pickleball paddle is engineered for players who demand power and request control, in that order. We were impressed with the meat and potatoes of this paddle: With IsoChamber technology the honeycomb core is fully isolated in the frame enclosed in high density foam, this has a sweetspot expanding effect we see from top end paddles across the market. The paddle frame and handle are constructed as a single piece, featuring a StableMax Handle that enhances torsional stability to improve control and power. A Raw Carbon paddle face gives that gritty feel and offers easy access to spin and power. As for the secret sauce: The FreeFlex Tech shaft design features an open throat. The port on the bridge of the paddle is becoming a more popular concept but the shape and location of the open throat on the Vesper paddle is unique. More aerodynamic on swings, improved speed in hand battles, the throat design will enhance the control and confidence this already hot playing paddle offers.
