Overview

Introducing the Clash 108! With this racquet, Wilson puts its uniquely flexible formula into a larger, more forgiving head size. This racquet also sports a slightly extended length (27.25") giving it higher power and spin potential. At 10.4 ounces strung, the Clash 108 is ideal for the intermediate player or savvy doubles specialist who wants a maneuverable racquet with great feel. The Clash 108 should also work for the the dedicated beginner who wants a racquet that will reward improvement. With its 108 square inch head, this is the most forgiving and lively Clash to date. However, like the other Clash models, it has good control, making it an extremely versatile option. What makes it truly special is what lies under the hood. With its ultra low flex point, the Clash 108 is one of the most arm-friendly racquets in its class. According to Wilson, the flexible feel is achieved with the help of two innovative  technologies, FreeFlex and StableSmart, both of which help deliver the benefits of flexibility without compromising the crisp and solid feel that modern power players crave. From the baseline, the Clash 108 not only feels solid and comfortable, but it accelerates through contact with ease, making it great for generating pace, whipping up spin or executing shots on the run. At net, this racquet not only comes around fast, but the larger head size provides a comfortable and generous platform for making clean and effective contact with the ball. On serve, the slightly extended length definitely helps with power. Ultimately, the Clash 108 is a great option for the player who wants an oversize racquet with outstanding feel. The fact that it has a higher level of control than many of its competitors is a nice bonus.
