Overview
With the Clash 100S, Wilson serves up a uniquely arm-friendly racquet with very easy access to spin. Boasting a sub-320 swingweight and buttery 54RA stiffness, the Clash 100S is defined by raw speed and great feel. It features Wilson’s grippy 18x16 Spin Effect string pattern, making it ideal for anyone who wants to load the ball with spin. It also comes with two innovative material technologies FreeFlex and StableSmart, both of which help deliver the benefits of flexibility without compromising the crisp and solid feel that modern power players crave.
On groundstrokes, the Clash 100S is comfortable and precise. Spin comes very easy, and the speedy feel makes it great for scrambling on defense or cranking winners on the run. Although not quite as stable as the Clash 98 or Clash Pro, the Clash 100S feels solid for its weight. At net, this stick comes around fast, making it great on reaction volleys. It also shines on serve where this stick explodes through contact to deliver impressive spin and pop. Ultimately, with the Clash 100S, Wilson has delivered an impressive racquet for the aggressive intermediate player. It should also work for the more advanced player who wants a speedy spin-monster with outstanding feel.
