Tennis ball machine key words
Here at Tennis Warehouse we want to make your shopping experience as easy as possible. Below is a list of key words found in ball machine descriptions to help you select the best machine for your game.
AC/DC - the machine can be plugged in to an outlet or use an internal battery
Ball Capacity - how many balls the ball machine can hold
Ball Feed Rate - range of how often a ball is shot out of the machine
Ball Speed - range of how fast a ball is traveling out of the ball machine
Control Panel - located on the ball machine, contains all the controls including on/off button, elevation, speed, oscillating, etc
Elevation Control - the ability to adjust the trajectory of the ball electronically
Line Feature - typically a variation of narrow, medium, wide position settings on oscillation on how far apart the the balls are fed (narrow being close to the middle of the court, wide being close to the singles lines)
MF (Multi-Function) Remote - wireless control of all functions that are on the control panel
Oscillator - feeds balls to different parts of the court (not just one spot)
Player Mode - simulates playing a real player by picking a speed and spin then alternating the ball location and depths
Playing Time - how long the battery will last on one charge
Recharge Time - how long it will take the battery to fully recharge after being completely drained
Spin Control - the ability to control how much spin is added to the ball, ranging from top spin to underspin/backspin
Start Up Time Delay - gives the player time to get to the other side of the net before feeding balls
2B (2 Ball) Remote - the ability to wirelessly control the starting and stoping of ball delivery and side to side positioning
