Our playtesters, whose skill levels range from Division I collegiate to intermediate, and whose game styles range from aggressive baseliner to crafty all-courter, found a quick swinging racquet that offered plenty of power wherever they were on court. They were especially impressed by how well they could transition from defense to offense with this racquet. As our diverse playtest squad discovered, the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP is an effective weapon in just about anyone's hands.

Groundstrokes - Score: 86
The TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP enticed our playtesters with effortless power from the baseline. Chris said, "I quickly found the groove from the baseline with this racquet. I have been hitting a Babolat Pure Drive Plus a lot recently, and this racquet was easy to adjust to despite the drop back down to a standard length. The response off the stringbed felt very Pure Drive-like. I quickly tapped into this racquet's spin and power potential. I was getting enough spin to either sustain a rally or hit with aggression with a high level of consistency. I was also able to transition very well from defense to offense thanks to the easy power and maneuverability."
Mark took advantage of this racquet's user-friendliness. He said, "From my first forehand feed, I knew I was going to like this racquet. From a groundstroke perspective the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP delivered a nearly perfect combination of weight, balance, beam firmness and head size for me. Within a few hours of play I was pretty confident with the inside out forehand and all my down-the-line shots. Overall, this is one of the best back-court racquets I have ever tested, and I looked forward to getting into baseline battles with it."
Marco did some fine-tuning to get the most out of this TFlash 300. He said, "I felt this racquet generated a lot of power from the baseline. I was able to turn defense into offense with ease, and I could garner good racquet head speed with this stick to get some good RPMs on the ball. I did prefer it with some tungsten tape at 10 and 2, which made it feel more stable and increased the plow through."
The transition game also stood out to Tiffani. She offered, "The first thing I noticed about this Tecnifibre Flash 300 Dynacore ATP was how easily I adjusted to using it. It provided me with a fast response, and it could get me out of tough spots. I could be on the defensive and make a shot that I likely couldn't with a more control-oriented racquet, and I used that to help me transition back into a more offensive position. As it turns out, I was not hitting as powerfully as I thought I was. My PlaySight data showed that I was hitting with my typical pace even though it felt as if I was hitting with extra MPHs on my groundstrokes. On the upside, I was happy with the ball feel despite this being a pretty stiff racquet. I could use the feel to hit some effective slice shots on my backhand side."
Volleys - Score: 83
Success with this TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP followed our playtesters to the net. Marco was able to punch volleys away, but he would have liked a bit more feel. He said, "This racquet had the ability to stick the ball without me having to really time my shots all that well. When I didn't catch the ball in the middle of the stringbed I still felt as though there was a good amount of stick to my volleys, which was an aspect I liked. I found that touch volleys were harder to nail down, with the ball often coming off my racquet a bit firmer than I wanted."
All the ingredients were there for Tiffani to succeed at net. She said, "This racquet was easy to get into position to fire back volleys. When it comes to net play, I look for racquets that are easy to get into position and offer easy pace with a forgiving sweetspot. Check, check and check."
Likewise Chris spent most of his time on the offensive when he was at the net. He noted, "I continued to enjoy this stick when attacking the net. It offered a more solid response compared to the 315g version. The sweetspot of this racquet also felt bigger and more forgiving compared to the heavier version. I put that forgiving response to good use by attacking the net as often as possible. In both singles and doubles the racquet felt fast and precise. I was reacting well with it and finding my targets. The response was more comfortable than other racquets with similar specs, yet it wasn't so muted that I felt disconnected from the ball."
Mark also found a winning combination of specs for net play. He said, "The TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP was easy to maneuver at net, and for the most part it was very stable as well (a great combination). Unless I was caught off guard with a passing shot, not too many shots got past me with this stick."
Serves - Score: 83
The playtesters tempered their praise a bit for the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP on serves, but they were still getting good results. Tiffani said, "I was anticipating a little more free power from this racquet on serves. I thought I would be able to carve out some extra power on this shot because of how it felt on groundstrokes. I was getting good pace and some spin, but neither was anything out of the ordinary. This racquet was a good performer for me on serves, but there wasn't anything to set it apart."
Mark offered similar thoughts, saying, "I generally prefer a heavier racquet on serve, so I was a bit surprised at how easily I adapted to the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP. Within a couple of hours of play I was able to consistently set up my points with a three-quarter pace serve and finish them from the baseline. I was not eclipsing 100 MPH with the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP, but I did have a nearly seamless transition from my serve to groundstrokes."
Once again Marco played with a customized frame. He said, "This frame's speed through the air was really beneficial on serves, and with a bit of added weight I could really get the ball zinging through the court. Without the added weight I was feeling as though my serve could have more pop to it."
For Chris, on the other hand, it was all systems go. He offered, "Thanks to the easy power and spin I was getting, I was serving well. My first serves had some nice zip to them. My slice serves were moving away from the returner nicely, and I was able to follow that serve in consistently well and put away volleys to the open court. I also had a lot of success slicing serves into the returner's body to force a weak return."
Returns - Score: 81
Once again, power was a factor for the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP. Chris took full advantage on his return game. He said, "This was another shot where this racquet was working for me. I found the stability I needed to get the job done even though this is a light and fast racquet. I really didn't have any complaints. My drive returns were working well. I could work the angles, and I was able to dig myself out of trouble on many defensive returns."
Tiffani found the power a little too tempting. She explained, "Although it was no fault of the racquet, I was a little wild on this shot. Because the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP offered such a quick response I kept wanting to take bigger swings, which resulted in a lot of missed returns. Playing it more conservatively was a much better tactic for me with this racquet, but I tended to give in to the temptation to go for more than I should."
"This racquet could have been a little more stable for my liking on returns," said Marco, one of our biggest hitters. "Off-center shots didn't have a forgiving feel. When I was able to make good contact my returns were hit with good pace and control."
Versatility was the key for Mark, who said, "I liked returning with this racquet, which added to my notion that the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP is one of the more versatile racquets I have played with thus far. It is light enough for me to occasionally swing through my return and stable enough to allow me to chip or slice my return back into play."

Likes
Chris - "I loved the power-to-control ratio -- not too much of the former and just enough of the latter. The TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP felt comfortable and forgiving, and it offered better than expected stability (surprisingly bettering its heavier 315g sibling)."
Mark - "Visually, I like the black and green aesthetic; it seems to be a popular combination for tennis racquets lately. Performance wise, I feel the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP exhibited some of the best overall versatility that I have experienced since testing racquets here. The RA is high, but its stiffness is well hidden by the way the frame is constructed. I never once had a twinge of arm discomfort from playing with it, even with a full set of poly in it."
Marco - "A very maneuverable frame that generates power with ease."
Tiffani - "The TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP is an easy racquet with which to find a rhythm. The responsive feel makes it easier to transition from defense to offense. I like the green color of the tie-off grommets. It makes it easy to identify the tie-off locations and also adds a nice color accent. Functional cosmetics!"
Dislikes
Chris - "None. I would customize this racquet to my personal preferences and be ready to roll. Even in stock form this was one of the more enjoyable racquets I've hit with this year."
Mark - "I would bump up the overall weight to mid-11 ounce range, which would be an easy task to perform."
Marco - "Not very stable on certain shots."
Tiffani - "The feel is a bit stiff. I noticed my wrist felt a little sore after playing, but not during."
Comparing the racquet to others they've tried, our testers said:
Chris - "This was just a better racquet for me compared to the heavier TFlash 315 Dynacore ATP. Surprisingly, I found it to be more solid and forgiving -- especially on compact shots and/or defensive situations. Outside of Tecnifibre, the Volkl Super G 8 300 is very comparable. Both offer impressive comfort and a forgiving response, all in an easy to manage and pleasingly powerful package. The Babolat Pure Drive is another obvious comparison, and I found it easy to switch between that, this and the Volkl."
Mark - "I can favorably compare the TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP to the likes of the Babolat AeroPro Drive, the Pure Drive, the Volkl Super G 8 (300), the Wilson Juice 100 and Burn 100, the Yonex VCORE Si 100, the Head Graphene XT Instinct MP and the Head Graphene XT Extreme MP."
Marco - "The TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP is similar to the Babolat Pure Drive in terms of the power both racquets generate and the increased plow through with added tungsten tape."
Tiffani - "The TFlash 300 Dynacore ATP plays like previous TFlash models in terms of easy access to pace and spin. This racquet also feels quite similar to the Babolat Pure Drive. They're both easy to use racquets that offer a bit of everything in a forgiving package."
