First things first. What is a hybrid tennis string? Hybrids combine two different sets of string on the mains and crosses to offer increased playbility, durability or spin. Historically hybrids have featured two different material types, but poly/poly hybrids are gaining popularity. The idea is you want to the benefits of two different strings.
