Diadora Shoe Guide

If you ask the Tennis Warehouse product testing team where one should go for comfort footwear, a lot of them will likely point you in the direction of Diadora. This Italian manufacturer is renowned for their attention to detail, outstanding performance (as seen on many ATP/WTA doubles players), and world-class comfort. This article breaks down the various Diadora families and which one may be best for you.

The Crème de la Crème: B.Elite Star

When it comes to premium comfort, high-end fashion, and court-ready performance, there's never been a shoe quite like the B.Elite Star. Seen on many a musician's feet nowadays, these cross-cultural shoes have become a hit for their sleek look, made-in-Italy premium nature, and all-around pleasant sensations for hitting the courts. Though our team noted that they perhaps aren't in that upper echelon for extreme lateral movements and dynamic motion, they were more than sufficient for hitting and playing a variety of court sports. These B.Elite Stars come in limited quantities and colorways, so if you see one you like, be sure to snag it before it's gone.

Tour-Ready Performance: Torneo 3

As seen on a plethora of both ATP and WTA players, the Torneo 3 is one of the most tour-forward performance pair of shoes from Diadora. In addition to a soft underfoot feeling and excellent stability for lateral movements, the Torneo 3 has an extremely accomodating fit, which makes it a viable option for wider foot types. Make no mistake though, there is plenty of lockdown security, as our narrower foot types also found success with these shoes. These shoes are the most common from Diadora on both pro tours.

Stability and Speed: B.Icon 3

The B.Icon 3 is perhaps the most stable offering from Diadora. This performance-first silo isn't quite as comfortable as the aforementioned Diadora shoes, but it makes up for what it lacks in comfort with an extremely high level of functionality on court. Our team reported excellent levels of support and stability when moving at top speeds, and overall an impressive level of durability as well, making these one of the more well-rounded options from Diadora. These shoes are in limited quantities, so be sure to grab one while supplies last.

Plush Stability: Blushield Fly 5

As seen on ATP player Jan-Lennard Struff, the Blushield Fly 5 takes an abundant amount of underfoot comfort and blends its feeling with an almost mid-top profile, which provides a high level of stability across your feet. The upper is more of a sock-like, bootie construction, and features step-in plushness that keeps your feet feeling nice and fresh. Fit is slightly on the narrower side, so if you're in between sizes we'd recommend going a size up.
