Best Power Racquets for Intermediate Level
Babolat Pure Drive
The Pure Drive is one of the most popular and versatile racquets ever made. This racquet delivers an easy learning curve to virtually any player who is looking to swing big and load the ball with pace and spin. Although it has inspired an army of clones, the Pure Drive is the undisputed king when it comes to light power frames. In this latest model, Babolat enhances comfort with an updated version of NF2 Tech, a dampening technology that uses flax fibers in the throat to smooth out harsh vibrations.
Yonex EZONE 100
The Yonex EZONE 100 has earned a spot on many players' favorite lists for its all-around playability. It delivers controllable power, good feel and easy playability. With this version, Yonex introduces more dampening technologies and a redesigned beam geometry to boost stability. Those updates add a plusher feel to this all-around performer.
Tecnifibre TFight 300
This TFight 300 is the newest addition to the TFight range. It shares most of the same specs as the racquet endorsed by Iga Swiatek, the TFight 300S, but instead of a 98-square-inch head size, the TFight 300 has a more forgiving 100-square-inch head. That helps boost the power and forgiveness. This racquet might not be as powerful as the others in the "power" category, but it makes up for it with feel and control.
Solinco Blackout 300 v2
A leader in the tennis string market, Solinco broke into the racquet market in a big way with the first editions of the Blackout and Whiteout. Now ith the Blackout 300 v2, Solinco refines its power-oriented racquet. We enjoyed the updated feel ih the Blackout and found it to deliver more control along with plenty of power.
Best Power Racquets for Advanced Level
Babolat Pure Aero 98 2026
The Pure Aero 98 is setting the bar high for 2026. Babolat refines the already popular racquet, earning the high praise (and scores) from our Tennis Warehouse playtesters. This Pure Aero 98 packs the power and spin of the Aero racquets, but it has a thinner beam and smaller head size that provides a bit of added control. Although this franchise is known as Babolat's "spin" line, this update is friendly to flatter hitters too, according to our TW testing team.
Yonex EZONE 98
We have come to love the EZONE 98 for its blend of easy power, feel and maneuverability. It's more user-friendly than many other 98-square-inch head sizes, and although it doesn't offer the same raw power of some other offerings, its blend of power, easy shot placement and exceptional feel land it on this list. Players who want just a bit more put-away power with the same level of feel could take the extended length version, the EZONE 98+, out for a spin.
