Tennis Fashion: Boutique Brands to Watch
Whether they're emerging brands or those established and well loved for their meticulous attention to detail, we've curated a list of tennis fashion lines that delight!
We all love strolling into our favorite boutiques to see the new and unique items that have arrived since our last visit. The materials will be special and the finishes will be high quality — whether they are stunning jacquard knit patterns, surprising trims and seaming details, or embroidered features that give a piece that "WOW" factor. We know they will look great and stand out in a crowd.
Tennis Warehouse is showcasing some brands that have a distinct "Boutique" feel. On and off the court, their styles have charm, charisma and attention to detail that set them apart from the rest. Some of these labels have a heritage aspect to them, and others have come onto the scene more recently, but we think you’ll agree they all have an elevated look that will help you express your individual style.
The Bubble

With extra attention paid to the small details, The Bubble focuses on preppy style, comfort and quality. Their line features flattering skirts with various silhouettes that are defined by their vibrant colors and unique plaids and prints. They also specialize in classic sweaters with embroidered tennis and pickleball motifs as well as knit tops with pointelle knit textures.
Lacoste

Founded in 1933 by French tennis star Rene Lacoste, this brand is famous for its timeless designs, ethical practices, quality materials and craftsmanship, and iconic Croc logo. Sporting a casual "Old Money" look, the Lacoste classic pique polo is largely unchanged since its inception.
Although this sense of classic style remains, modern elements have been introduced to keep things fresh. Lacoste continues to stay on the cutting edge with performance features that are integrated into their apparel. Breathable jacquard knit fabrics that are as chic and beautiful as they are functional are being used in many of their new pieces along with new lengths and silhouettes.
Ame & Lulu

Ame & Lulu is a true boutique brand, originally sold only in small specialty boutiques and pro shops. Founded in 2003, the business started with unique designs for golf club head covers. It soon grew to encompass a wide range of stylish tennis bags, accessories, hats and visors and apres tennis apparel. We particularly love the knit sweaters and embroidered sweatshirts for covering up on chilly days.
Sergio Tacchini

Another heritage brand, Sergio Tacchini was founded in 1966 by the Italian tennis champion of the same name. While tennis clothing was previously defined by a mainly white color palette, Sergio Tacchini diverged from the competition by introducing bold color and innovative design to the sport of tennis.
Over the years, the brand has partnered with champions such as Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova and Pete Sampras, to name a few. Today, they are still recognized for their blend of retro style with modern, innovative designs, unique fabrics and continued use of color.
Bird & Vine

The lifestyle brand Bird & Vine is based in Los Angeles and embodies effortless California style with a focus on luxurious comfort. Their lines are popular with trend-setters and celebrities, and they have tennis and pickleball inspired designs that are guaranteed to show off your love for these court sports in a whimsical fashion.
Wilson

Wilson Sporting Goods got its start manufacturing gut strings for tennis racquets in 1913. They didn’t debut their premium performance tennis collection until 2022, but they certainly made up for lost time. The modern and sporty styles do a great job of combining fashion and function on the court.
Fun fact: Wilson designed Marta Kostyuk’s actual wedding dress in 2023. For Wimbledon 2024, she wore a replica during play that was a big hit with fans. Wilson continues to surprise with new looks that are sure to freshen up your court wardrobe.
CourtLife

Founded by two tennis-playing friends in Decembe 2020, CourtLife was born from the need for a better tennis bag. It has since expanded into lifestyle tennis and pickleball attire that’s perfect for wearing in-between matches. This line encompasses comfy sweatshirts with unique embroidered detailing that showcase your passion for these fun sports.
TravisMathew

Inspired by Southern California’s active, yet laid-back culture, Travis Mathew Johnson set out to redefine style on the golf course in 2007. TravisMathew first focused on versatile men’s golf attire with an elevated feel. In 2022, the brand introduced its first women’s line featuring classic silhouettes and a mix of soft, lifestyle and performance fabrications. This upscale, SoCal vibe is perfect for the woman on-the-go, moving effortlessly from the court to the clubhouse and anywhere else her day takes her.
