adidas Club vs Gameset: Performance Attire for Every Budget
At first glance, you may look at the adidas apparel we carry at Tennis Warehouse and see similar styles with different price points. When you look closer, you’ll see that adidas offers different lines with various levels of performance features and finishes. We explore the differences.
Similar Look, Different Features
The adidas Gameset and Club styles are designed for performance and comfort during heated matches and training sessions. The Gameset tanks and dresses usually feature integrated bras with removable pads for extra support and a more streamlined look, while the Club line typically does not have built-in support. Gameset apparel also contains more high-end finishes, such as innovative fabric textures, mesh inserts and complex seaming details, than the Club items have.
Both lines have moisture wicking technology in their fabrics to help keep you dry and comfortable when you’re working up a sweat. Much of the Gameset apparel has HEAT.RDY technology that cools as it wicks away moisture with lightweight, hybrid textiles that allow for maximum airflow and may also incorporate body mapping technology to create strategic ventilation zones with jacquard knitting techniques and laser perforations. The Club apparel more often features AEROREADY moisture wicking technology that is also quick-drying to keep you cool and comfortable, but usually offers less innovative technology in the fabrics.
One of the things that the adidas Gameset and Club lines have most in common is style. If you are looking for a performance tank top for instance, there are many lengths and styles to choose from. Both lines offer cropped styles, mid-length (hip skimming) options, and tanks with longer lengths. They also offer a range of fitted, semi-fitted and relaxed silhouettes as well as different necklines with racerback to full-coverage shoulder choices.

As an example of how items may look similar but are quite different, we have both the Gameset Tank and Club Tank pictured in black. They look similar in style, but there are differences that you would notice right away in your hand. As we mentioned, this Gameset Tank does have a built-in bra and thicker (although lightweight) fabric than the Club Tank, which also doesn't have an integrated bra. The Gameset Tank does come in a shorter mid-length silhouette, which might be a good fit if you have a shorter torso or if you want to show the waistband of your skirt.
Pro Level Clothing
In addition to the Gameset and Club apparel, adidas has a Pro line that features the looks and technology worn by some of your favorite players on tour. At Tennis Warehouse, we have a wide range of performance styles for every budget, and we invite you to come take a closer look at all of the adidas options we carry.
