Arm-friendly Comfort meets Easy Power
Head adds more power to its most popular multifilament. Compared with the standard version, Velocity MLT Power is constructed with thinner and more flexible filaments. In addition to transferring greater energy to the ball (think power), this multi delivers a very arm-friendly hitting experience. As such, it is not only great for mitigating the impact shock of lighter/stiffer racquets, but it will also add extra comfort and power to any hybrid. Like the standard Velocity, it has a low-friction surface, making it easier for the strings to snap back during impact for easier access to spin. Natural/Black strings are differentI used the black color Velocity Power 1.30mm as the hybrid cross three times, then switched to the natural color (also 1.30mm) last week. The main poly string was the same one. The black one has a softer feel and muted sound. The natural one has higher power, slicker surface, and crisper sound.
When the black string lost the coating after 1 h play, it became bright white. But the natural color string kept the same color after 6 h. So I feel the materials of the shell are more or less different. I know the official information is usually "same performance for all colors", but what I experienced is obviously different. Both colors have their own advantages.
Good hybrid string choiceI use Velocity Power 1.30mm with the black coating as the cross (50-52 lbs) to balance the low power of 1.25 mm Hawk Touch or Hawk Rough as the main (46-48 lbs). I am a 3.5 amateur player. The lifetime of Velocity Power is about 15 hours before being crushed by the ball. This multifilament string is resistant to abrasion with the stiff polyester. All the cross contact points with the main string kept the very thin black coating throughout the lifetime. Other multi strings I used earlier were cut through by the polyester string.
Good string for elbowIt is a good mutlifilament for a bad elbow. I wish I could use poly, but my elbow gets injured every five years to the point where I have to take one year off minimum. Lasts me two or three sets before breaking, par for the course.
Great MultiGood playability for a soft multi to put in the cross with a poly in the mains.

No powerI tried these strings, thinking they would supply power. Dead feeling with no pop at all. I don't understand how they can be deader than syn gut, but they are. Anyhow, that's my opinion. I get much more power out of poly strings with low tension than these at any tension.

Main String Power for Poly HybridUntil recently I played with a poly/poly hybrid of Caviar and Ghost Wire. I play with a HEAD Prestige Tour 360+ 18x19 pattern and was seeking more power. I tried lowering tension first, which did not work. I purchased one coil of this Head string and put it in the mains at 60 pounds and Caviar crosses (52 pounds) and noticed an appreciable boost in flat ball power. There was no big loss of control. It was very comfortable. For power increase, it is better than regular Velocity MLT.

Velocity MLTI like this string a lot. It has good spin, and great snap back for a multi. 16 gauge is very durable and is a great cross or main string. Use in a poly multi hybrid. Highly recommend

Nice Feel and PowerJust put these on my Yonex Ezone 100. I like these strings. I have tennis elbow and they feel nice, pretty good spin, broke in pretty quickly no real drop in tension yet as of 4 hours of hitting. I will update as I play but a nice feeling option. Similar to NXT Power
