Overview
Featuring a hexagonal profile for increased ball bite and spin production, Focus Hex is a great choice for today's power player. Provides a high level of control and a softer feel than traditional polyester strings, this string is hexagonal version of Co-Focus. We found excellent access to spin when testing this string. Comfort was also impressive for a co-poly and the thin gauge offers some useful pop.

Comments: I'm really glad I gave this string a go. It's such a solid all-rounder. I would agree with some of the reviews and the TW review that it's not absolutely exceptional in anything specific, but there is something about it. The highlights for me are good feel/touch, good comfort and good tension maintenance. I string it at 52 pounds, and that feels nice. I might try and string it lower just to see, because even after a number of hitting sessions, it feels great. It helps that I also play with a Wilson Blade v7 - it compliments the string nicely. Roughly 5-5.5 NTRP. At this price, you can't go wrong. I've been through hundreds of strings and I just seem to have connected to this one.

Comments: This string is very durable but it wasn't comfortable. Good for hybriding with a multi or synthetic gut.

Comments: I really enjoyed using these strings -- they are good overall for every category, but not extraordinary for anything either. The durability is off the charts though. My only problem is that they don't sell this string in a 1.27 mm reel. The only reels they have are 1.23 and 1.18 mm thickness.
