The adidas Defiant Speed 2 features the midsole and outsole from the ubersonic 4 paired with comfort and support in a stylish court shoe! The light yet supportive mono-mesh upper is durable, flexible and breathable allowing players to feel confident pushing their speed to the limit to run every ball down. The Quickstrike midsole offers more response and cushion than previous versions while the heel counter keeps players locked in. The outsole mimics the Ubersonic 4 and features a tread ideal for all court surfaces but ideally for hard court use.

Replacement for UbersonicsI have worn Ubersonics through all their (many!) iterations and loved them despite the soles wearing out quickly. I did not like the newest version without the integral sock. The Defiant Speed 2 seems a good replacement for me - they are definitely stiffer, and maybe narrower but they hug my feet, give good ankle support and the soles are much more durable (6 months vs 3!).
Defiant Speed 2I took one star off, only because I have this shoe in all white, and this one seems to fit just a bit different. It seemed a slight bit more narrow. I have been able to wear them. Overall I really like this shoe.
Nice, but too tightI was excited to get these, but unfortunately they turned out to be too tight and very uncomfortable for me. I have bone-y feet and it's hard for me to find tennis shoes that don't hurt, and so far adidas brand has been the best, but they don't make the shoes I've been wearing, so I tried a new one, sadly, didn't work out and had to return them. TW is awesome though, they were very friendly and refunded the money without a question.

Very Comfy!I recently bought these tennis sneakers since adidas doesn't make the ones I was wearing. I really like them -- they are comfortable with a great arch support, breathable and yet sturdy on the court. I am very happy to have found a replacement for the discontinued style I was wearing!

Artificial Turf SurfaceI found these shoes to require very little breaking in. True to size they are my second favourite shoe after the adidas Defiant Bounce which I can no longer find after wearing for many years. I generally play socially two to three times a week and have found them comfortable through the month I have worn them.

Great Shoes!These shoes made a great gift for my daughter who is a Tennis Pro for Genesis Health Club. She loves them!
