This fast and surgical player's racquet gets updated with a new frame geometry for 2023
Yonex adds another chapter to the VCORE 95! Like the previous generation this stick rewards seasoned ball strikers with an extremely precise ball. Although not as heavy as a traditional player's racquet, the VCORE 95 feels remarkably solid for its speedy sub-325 swingweight. For 2023 Yonex overhauls the ISOMETRIC head shape by creating an even roomier, more luxurious hitting zone in the upper hoop. The payoff is a more forgiving and stable hitting experience, with an expanded spin window and juicier levels of power. Yonex has also recontoured the VCORE shaft and made slight tweaks to the beam throughout the frame. Other new features include SIF Grommets, which deploy a silicone oil infusion to reduce the friction between string and grommet. The upshot is greater string movement for increased snapback (think spin). In addition to lowering the RA-stiffness for better ball feedback, this update continues with 2-NAMD FlexForce Graphite in the upper shaft and lower hoop, enabling the racquet to deflect and snapback effectively through impact. Experienced players looking for the undeniable precision of a compact head will love how fast and easy this one plays. The lower beam stiffness is a nice bonus.

Great take on a modern player's racquetAs someone who's always preferred smaller heads from 95-98 sq in, this racquet gives you a great modern take of a player's racquet. Excellent control and flexibility, but the bigger sweetspot really allows for more power off the shot. Sometimes it feels more like a 98 than a 95. I've had arm troubles in recent years and by far this is one of the most comfortable player's racquets I've used compared to the RF/Pro Staff/Ultra/CX. Easy access to spin as well, but it does lack some weight. So if you want a bit more plow through on your shots, lead tape might be required. I would recommend this for somebody who wants to experiment with player's racquets, but does not want to fully commit to the difficulty that other player's racquets provide. You can easily just play this racquet without modifications as well.
The power rating on this beast was not low!The racquet is not a low powered as advertised, which is a good thing. I have used the head extreme MP, Head Speed MP, Babolat Pure Aero 98, and Yonex Percept 97. All of those racquets google will say that they are more powerful than the Yonex Vcore 95 but I disagree. The string pattern, despite the extra string and smaller head is fairly open. Also the top of the head is wider than even the Head Extreme MP. The decrease in square inches is near the throat where you don’t even hit the ball anyways. The thinner neck brings less drag through the air, allowing for a faster swing. Another thing that brings up the power is the sweetspot is higher on the head, which gives you more leverage on the ball. It is just is not a traditional 95 inch racquet. This is a great racquet for a one hand backhand due to its head lightness and whippiness. I also find that this racquet pairs well with the Yonex Percept 97. They are pretty much the same weight and have close the same head lightness. The Vcore has a little higher swing weight, slightly higher stiffness, and a thicker beam. The Vcore has more power and spin but the Percept 97 has better feel. They pair well together because the spot is the same location.
PerfectRec player. Maybe 4.0 on a good day. Have played with older Yonex Vcore Pro for years now. Had 4 and wore them all out so I’d been on the hunt for about a year and demoed almost every racquet Yonex had over the last year. Nothing felt quite right. This one stuck me immediately as a great replacement. I love how it feels so solid and the control is fantastic. Will be stocking up on this one.
My favorite Yonex raquetI’ve tried the Ezone and Percept 97 in the past. This has the best balance of feel and control in my opinion. I like that when I got two of these that they came out almost identical in weight. Yonex has a really good rep for quality control and I know it’s not just a rumor now. 9/10 in my opinion. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys smaller head sizes but doesn’t feel super stiff when not hitting right on center
It’s a very good racquetVery good balanced racquet. Really depends on what string you put in but good power and overall really well constructed racquet I recommend

Great PaintjobThe paintjob is nice and retains the playability of the Scarlet 2023 VCORE 95. Strung with Yonex PolyTour Strike at 46 pounds and it is perfect.

PERFECT STICK ... FLY SWATTERThis is the ultimate handle heavy players frame! I added a leather grip to make it even more handle heavy and plush... as if it needed that. If you like a quick maneuverable whippy frame this is the stick for you. If you want a heavy Warhammer of a frame this is not for you.

Favorite racquetPicked up two VCore 95's about six-months ago. I'm an all-court player in my early 40's and play at the 4.5/5.0 level. I'm loving these frames! I added leather grips and a little lead tape at 12 o'clock. This put the swingweight and balance in my wheelhouse. It's a great weapon on the court!
Great control/ spin frameI really like it. It's very stable on volleys and smooth swinging at the baseline. I wasn't a fan of the 98.
Sleeper racquetDecided to demo this one from TW, previously a Yonex Ezone 100 2022 user, rating USTA 5.0, clay court player. This was an absolute beast, had never tried a 95 before. This plays more like a 98/100. Much softer than the Ezone 100 and has nearly as much spin potential on clay. Had tons of control and you can hit big with the 95. Not a beginner frame but if you want a change, need more control and you want to hit out, try this racquet. Try it with Yonex PTP string.
