NXT-mainThis is the best product so far. I tried both combinations and NXT in the mains is more durable and powerful and good feeling. ALU Power in the mains gave me a much shorter life. So I do not agree with the recommendation on this page.

Comments: I have used this the past few weeks after using natural gut w/ 4GR. I think I like this better. I use the RF97 with a dampener and power pads. The NXT is soft and helps get that plush feel I'm after. 4GR is great for spin. I would recommend this to anyone.

Comments: Love this concept but it's cheaper to buy a pack of 4GR and NXT Control. Around $45 for two of these hybrid packs but $37 for a pack of individual string. I'm a long time 4G user and been hitting with a 4G main at 60 lbs with 4GR at 60 lbs in crosses. Just strung my RF97 with Lux natural gut in mains at 60 lbs with 4GR crosses at 60 lbs. So far playability is close to normal set up just a little easier on the arm. I will definitely try this hybrid but I'll be buying full packs of each.
