Raw speed meets easy targeting and plush Comfort

For 2022 Wilson keeps the revolutionary technology of the original version while also beefing up the stability in the upper regions of the string bed. Like the previous generation, the Clash 100 v2 combines explosive speed with spin-friendly targeting and enough power to close out points. Weighted for intermediate players, this 11 ounce racquet makes it easy to scramble on defense and hit groundstrokes on the run. The quick handling is also an asset at net where the Clash 100 plays great on reaction volleys. As with the first generation of Clash rackets, the 100 v2 is defined by Wilson's innovative frame technology, originally called FreeFlex. Renamed FORTYFIVE for 2022, this patented frame technology enables the racket to bend (and soften impact) across a wider geometry of stoke paths, including the vertical mechanics of the modern game. Ultimately, with a slightly enlarged sweetspot, the Clash 100 is an obvious option for players who want a light player's racquet with an arm-friendly feel.

Very balancedLooking for a better sweet than the RF racquets I have been using for years. The Clash has great balance and power for my all court game.

The best decisionExcellent option to stop suffering from arm pain, switching from the Pro Staff to the Clash 100 was definitely the best decision.

Excellent customer serviceI was able to speak to a tennis rep when inquiring about a new racquet and he gave excellent advice in guiding me to the right racquet and specifications so it was just right. Absolutely recommend.

Not Gonna Bash the ClashI'm a 61 year old, 4.5 rated, former college player. The Clash is the first time I've used any racquet other than a Prince since 1978. I like the feel of it, it's very easy on the arm, and my volleys are still solid. I got 3, and strung them at 50, 53 & 56, though there was little difference in actual tension between the 50 & 53. I'm contemplating putting a bit of lead tape on the frame, as it is a really light racquet. Overall, happy with the Clash and the service TW provided, except not overwhelmed with the performance/tension of the stringing provided.

Excellent tennis racquetThis is my third Clash V2. I like the swing weight and the balance. The sweet spot is large and the racquet has sufficient power. I think it performs best strung at 52 lbs and using polyester mains and synthetic gut crosses. It is flexible enough to absorb shock and prevent injury.

Great racquetI am an intermediate player, found that the Clash gives me good power and control. I have had no issues with elbow and it feels very comfortable. Only rating this as 4/5 because I received it with broken string.

Power and ControlI have been playing with my Pro Staff for about 20 years. After reading the reviews, I decided to give the Clash a try. I will say this, it has a modern feel to it, if that makes sense. It took me one game to really get use to the feel, but now I absolutely love the control and the power I am able to generate with this racquet.

Not sure it's for me, yet.I am a 4.25 player with some elbow issues. The weight and size are in my comfort zone, but I'm not quite there yet. I strung it with Tecnifibre NRG 16 gauge at 55 pounds. At this tension, it has a dramatically blunted the feel, compared to my stiffer racquets with the same string and tension. Friends said to lower the tension, so that is my next plan. Has anyone else had this problem?

Great racquet wrong stringsI decided to go with the Wilson Clash because my tennis instructor had one and she let me borrow it for a while during my lesson. I really like the way it felt, the light weight and the response. When I ordered it, I wasn’t sure about the tension so I went with the recommended tension of 55. But when I first played with it, 55 was way too loose. I had it restrung and it’s much, much better now with the tighter strings. So I would strongly recommend this racquet, but you may want purchase it unstrung and have it strung at your local pro shop.
