This uniquely fast extended length racquet combines high comfort with easy power

Introducing the Blade 104 v9! Defined by its generous 104 in² head size, this is the most forgiving and powerful member of the Blade family. In addition to its extended 27.5" length (which provides easier power on groundies and serves), the Blade 104 packs enough spin potential to bring the ball down on target. As with the previous generation, this update is extremely maneuverable for an extended length racquet, making it great for scrambling on defense, hitting shots on the run or reacting quickly at net. Like its predecessor, this update incorporates Direct Connect Technology, fusing the butt cap directly to the carbon fiber handle for increased stability. It also retains Wilson's FortyFive layup technology, which enhances lateral flexibility to complement the explosive vertical mechanics of the modern game (think heavy ball). New for 2024 is StableFeel technology, which introduces a slightly firmer layup for greater stability and easier access to power. Experienced ball strikers will appreciate the new Clip & Go grommet system, which not only locks down the bumper but also makes for easier grommet replacement. Ultimately, with minor tweaks to the feel and response, this update continues to be a great option for players who want the precision and feel of a Blade but in a more forgiving and powerful package.

Racquet reviewThe best racquet for intermediate level players. It has ample power, good spin potential and amazing control. One of the few oversized, long body sticks with a narrow beam width that translates in to pin point accuracy. Thanks to tennis warehouse for giving me a good discount price when I purchased this racquet.

Perfect for doublesA coach and a former college, challenger and satellite player. 5.5 rating. I play most doubles because a accident. Here my opinion Serves - excellent for any serve Returns- excellent do maneuverability and control Volleys-excellent do the maneuverability and quickness. Strokes- excellent do the power and faster swing great spin. I strung this racquet at 48m/46 x with diadem solstice power 17. Good racquetI want to have a racquet good for wrist and elbow pain, but still keep the strength to the power. This racquet meets my requirements.

what a great productI love my Wilson Blade V9. It has made playing tennis much more fun and I feel like it has improved my game quite a bit. Only problem I have now is that I will have to get a second one as a back up for when the strings break on this new racquet.

Played the v8 104, this is better racquetI’ve used the v8 blade 104 and SW 104 and I think this v9 version is better than those. Swings really fast and easy, huge sweet spot, very maneuverable, the extra 1/2 inch is great for serves, overheads etc. I use this mostly for doubles and think it’s the perfect doubles racquet.

Wilson Blade V9Reading reviews at both Tennis Warehouse and elsewhere, the Blade V9 seemed about what I wanted, for a lower intermediate player with room to grow. Easy on the arm was accurate as I hit against a wall an hour a day for a couple weeks then visited my son and played a couple hours singles 5 days straight with no discomfort (hadn't played in about 5 years before buying the racquet). Had it strung a by the warehouse staff 16 gauge at 55 Lbs and it seemed decent for touch shots and slice serves and the power was fine as well. I bought two, sent one to me and the other to my son in Atlanta to use when i visit, strung exactly the same. Arrived quickly, both played the same, no problems. Happy with the purchases and ease of making choices on the web site.

Easy to maneuver! This stick is light, maneuverable at the net, and can match the power of a regular 300 gram racquet due to its longer length and increased stiffness (to 64).

Enjoy my new Wilson BladeMeets my requirements for a racquet that has power without losing the feel I enjoy easy to manage around the net for crisp volleys. Am an older player that enjoys doubles and it easy on my arm

Second Wilson Blade 104.I tested the Blade V8 a few years back and purchased and played with it for 2.5 years. Then I noticed stress fractures along the inside of the frame. Since I enjoyed the 104 V8, I replaced it with the newest version and enjoy it just as much. As a senior doubles player, the head size is great, weight just right and the added length is a bonus too.

Love itLove it. Previously I’ve played with the Blade 98S. I love that they sent me three different demo racquets to try.
