Overview
Volkl V Torque is a very playable co-poly designed for players with long, fast strokes. It has three longitudinal grooves that form sharp edges for gripping the ball. The result is huge spin potential. We found this one to have above average comfort for a poly-based string.

Comments: This string is legit. It works better in a hybrid in my opinion. I made a mistake once and strung myWilson PS 90 with Volkl V-torque and natural gut at 45/48 lbs. The pairing of the strings and the racquet were sublime. For some reason, V-Torque didn't saw through the gut and I was getting ridiculous control and more than enough spin and the gut kept the string bed comfortable. Highly highly highly recommend this hybrid. I thought the natural gut would be a waste of money in the cross but boy was I wrong.

Comments: The Good: Spin is out of this world and very comfortable. The playability is fantastic. The bad: I did break two sets on the stringer. This does not happen with any other string. It only happens when I pull the last main. Same place every time. It breaks right at the tensioner.
