This ultra spin-friendly co-poly combines impressive playability duration with great feel.

Introducing Razor Spin! Designed with sharp edges, this square co-poly puts a tight grip on the ball, making it an obvious choice for those who place a premium on spin. To help with comfort, Tecnifibre deploys a unique polyurethane additive, making it great for those transitioning into polyester or who otherwise need a softer ride. But make no mistake, this string offers mindless accuracy on full cuts while also packing impressive playability duration for a co-poly. Ultimately, this is an excellent option for intermediate and advanced ball strikers looking for durable and spin-friendly option that doesn't skimp on feel.

Great but pricey stringAfter one solid hitting session and two competitive matches (one singles, one doubles), Tecnifibre Razor Spin 1.25 has been nothing short of dynamite in my TF40 305 16x19 (2024). This frame is string‑sensitive to me, and until now the most stable, predictable setup I'd found was Razor Soft 1.25. The only issue: I often missed the extra bite and shape that helped me bring the ball down when I swung big. So when I saw that Razor Spin was essentially a shaped sibling to Razor Soft, I had to try it immediately, and I'm glad I did. The string delivers a really satisfying blend of controlled power, comfort, and surprisingly effective bite for a four‑sided poly. It's not a spin monster, but the shape gives just enough extra grab to keep my heavier balls inside the lines without sacrificing the clean, connected feel I liked in Razor Soft. Tension maintenance has also been impressive so far, especially for a shaped poly. The only drawback is the price. If it were in the same range as Solinco Hyper‑G or Toroline O‑Toro, it would be an easy switch for me. As it stands, it's a premium string at a premium cost. But if your budget allows it, Razor Spin is a legitimately excellent option, especially for players who love Razor Soft but want a touch more spin and control without giving up feel.
