Used by ATP phenom Daniil Medvedev Razor Soft offers polyester players a phenomenal hitting experience, one that puts the surgical control and spin-friendly precision of the original Razor Code into a slightly more forgiving package. Razor Soft's magic comes in part from a high modulus polyester (used in the original Razor Code). This material compound gives it the kind of control that enables aggressive players to execute their biggest, most ambitious strokes without fear of overhitting (and it also helps explain why a player like Medvedev prefers it). To help with feel and comfort, Tecnifibre infuses the core with a flexible polyurethane, giving it a slight boost in pocketing over the original Razor Code. Ultimately this is one of the best options for experienced players looking for maximum control on full swings. The fact that Razor Soft's playability lasts longer than many competing strings is a very nice bonus.

First Time Trying This StringI purchased a TF40 18x20 on sale and had it strung with this string. It has worked well and was a good match for this racquet IMO. I am a pretty flat hitter and use spin for control and I really liked the level that this string provided. Would use again with no hesitation.

Longest lasting strings I've triedStrung razor soft at 50lbs in a Pure Aero 98. For the first few hours it was pretty stiff but then loosened up a little. The Pure Aero is a string eater with most lasting around 6 hours before tension drop is very noticeable. This string is at 17 hours and feels pretty much the same (or better) than the starting point. It's a solid feeling string but not super crisp if that makes sense. 4g carbon feels the best imo, but that string does not last in my racquets. My try a lower tension next time.

great string, great priceI usually use the razor code string. but picked this one to string my new racquet. This string gives me the same control on my heavy topspin and drop shots as the razor code, but I feel like the softer string has a bit less vibration and a bit more power. I'm happy I made the switch.

Good Soft control polyGood soft control poly. I strung full bed on a control racquet, This string gave max control without loosing power or spin. Good feel & spin and power for a soft control string. Just pricier than my current string. Thinking for using only for matches and using my current strings for practice (3+ times a week). Or buy it in bulk when on sale. Good serve. Feel is where this string excels.

Excellent stringsThese are in my TFight 300 ISO at 51 pounds, and I really like them. Being a gear nerd, I always research everything before buying, and thought the specs for these on TW University. Looked impressive (tension loss and spin potential). I think they compliment the TFight racquets well, and I like the great feel they seem to contribute. I will probably try the 18 gauge next, just to compare - but I really like these!
